Short-Haired Waterless Shampoo

Amazing stuff!!! My two elderly girls were itching like crazy so I wanted to try something at home, grooming them is so expensive and One of my girls gets herself so worked up she needs to be muzzled. I don’t like her this stressed out so I tried this stuff because it had really good reviews. It was very easy to apply, smells nice and clean without being too strong. Just work it into the fur, brush it out and boy what a difference! They instantly relaxed…..no more itching. I even put it on and around the rectal area where they tend to lick quite a bit when they get dirty. I will definitely use 2-3 times a month even though my animals are strictly indoors. Try it!

My husband and I caught and rescued a stray kitten last year, and he immediately became part of our household. He’s the sweetest cat and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, but he is a stinky, dirty cat. We’ve lovingly deemed him our trash cat. We tried to bathe him, but he does not like to be picked up. He never scratched intentionally, but he gets so terrified and tries to run. I tried everything - working with him slowly, positive reinforcement, even a bath bag. He escaped from it THREE times. After nearly giving up, I found this product. To say this is a game changer is an understatement. We can finally wash Grim without bloodshed or pet therapy. He’s clean, he smells great, and I no longer cringe every time he rubs his face on me. If you have a cat who can’t or won’t tolerate baths, this is the product you’ve been looking for. It’s incredibly easy to use, a little goes a long way, and his fur is soft and fresh smelling afterward.

All indoor cats smell bad- I mean, I bet even outdoor cats. Smell- It foams really well, smells strongly of perfume but I've had it awhile and the smell fades a bit, so it's better. But even before after a day of using this on my cat the smell isn't super strong. Applying- My cat didn't like me directly putting it on him. But if I put it on the brush first, he's more okay with it. I never blow dry; I just dry him well with a towel and he dries within about 30-45 minutes. Always complaining abt smt- One thing I don't like is it says TWICE a week- I normally just do once or MAYBE twice a month. I think that's kind of unnecessary. Why I bought it- My cat was kind of greasy feeling, that's really what pointed me towards getting waterless shampoo. And he's SOOO soft now. This definitely cleans a cat really well, I've heard of people using this for strays\ outdoor cats. I do recommend this vs sprays and other products!

All of my cats are rescues and never had a bath, they freak out whenever I try, I’ve gotten war scars to show for it. This is a way better alternative, not that I use it often bc they do clean themselves. Sometimes stuff happens! They don’t seem to mind the smell or thickness and it doesn’t cost much! Plus no more battle scars!!!

I didn’t care for the product. My cat was quite sticky for more than a day. The cat seemed annoyed and hide for a day.

Short review: It has a clean scent, very easy to use, soft hair, great for grooming. Long review: I have been using this shampoo for the last 8 weeks and my cats have actually started purring in the bathroom instead of clawing at me. I used to bathe my cats in the bathtub but they hated it so much! They used to jump out whenever they could, water would be everywhere, and hair for weeks. It also took forever to dry them. Now, I use the waterless shampoo and they smell clean, hair doesnt fly everywhere and great for brushing while the foam hasnt dried. My family was most concered about how the cats smelled if you didnt dry them, but the foam does not give them that bad scent if not dried properly, it just dries on its own without any bad residue! I absolutley love this product. I use it once a week, and their fur has never been softer. And I dont have to worry about looking away for a second to grab something since they lick their fur, because its lick safe! And my cousins are allergic to cats, but they came over yesterday and they were fine! Of course as precaution we lint rolled and kept them in a room with litter box, food, and water. Tips: Brush your cat's hair before drying to get the most out of the product. Use towels to dry and let the rest air dry. Make sure to get the top of their head, belly, and paws. Overall: Great for cats who hate the bath, takes roughly 5 minutes per cat if you are only doing shampoo + dry, lasts about 2 months, 3 if used sparingly.

This is the closest pic I could get because she's mad at me for cleaning her, but not as mad as she would be if I had to wrestle her in the tub. I was skeptical that it wouldn't be as thorough of a clean as a bath, but I was wrong! Quickly removed all her dirt and grime in a fraction of the time, and she didn't have any negative skin reactions. Didn't really have a smell which I liked, since fragrance can irritate skin. Will more than likely be using this from here on out!

Didn't work well. Left my cats fur crunchy. Didn't get her white fur clean.
