First, I'm a shoe snob. Not gonna lie. I have been an avid long distance (50 mile races) runner for over 30 years, so I know how important it is to have the right footwear for the right application. I have spent $300 on a pair of running shoes more times than I can count. I have also tried "inexpensive" (a.k.a. cheap) shoes hoping to find one that would surprise me. I haven't. Until now, that is. I was EXTREMELY skeptical about these shoes at this price point, but I figured I could always return them if they didn't work out. I wear a size 10.5 in running shoes, which is spot on for me and allows room for my feet to move freely during running. Since I didn't need that extra toe room I went with a 10 in these shoes. That fit was absolutely perfect. I do tend to have narrow feet and usually wear a B or D width shoe. The width on these is also spot on. The construction seems solid. The toe pad for the shifter peg looks very durable. Hard enough to prevent the peg from causing pain on those long rides and constant shifting. The toe box has plenty of room for me, without being too wide. The shoes are very light for what they are. They also feel very breathable, which is paramount in the Texas summer heat. The outside ankle padding is vital in a good motorcycle shoe, and this one has that. The sole isn't made of the typical hard, inflexible polyurethane that a lot of the more budget-friendly shoes are made of. The soles on these shoes seem very flexible, which makes them even more comfortable to walk around in between rides. It also prevents your feet from slipping off of the foot pegs. I commute to work on my bike occasionally and hated the burden of carrying "work shoes" just so I could be comfortable at work. I can wear these all day without issue. The side zipper is smooth and easy to open/close. It also doesn't press into your ankle like some shoes do. All of this, and the additional set of black laces, makes these shoes an exceptional buy at this price. I looked at Alpinestars riding shoes, but they didn't look like regular shoes and I would still have to carry additional shoes with me for work. At the $150+ price tag of those shoes it just wasn't worth it. They may be great as well, but these shoes were perfect for my needs. If you are on the fence about getting them, jump down on the "purchase" side. Tons of customers can't be wrong.

Great riding shoe that also has the feel and toughness of a boot. Love the side zipper for easy on and easy off. Very durable tread and a composite like toe. My only complaint is the lack of foot ventilation. Hot sweaty feet make for a uncomfortable ride. A version off these with ankle vents would be perfect for dry humid weather.

These are AWESOME riding shoes! They are VERY comfortable and the width is PERFECT!! I've only tried them on and walked around my crib...and have yet to wear them on a ride...but I'm sure they will perform wonderfully!! They even come with two colors of laces...Race Red and Black...so I can change them for cleaning...or even mismatch them to project some "attitude"!!! The leather construction is very well done...and the height and added material in the toe, sides and heel will provide more than adequate stability, support and protection for my feet! My only unknown is their resistance to water...but I'll most likely apply a leather wipe-on/spray-on treatment on the shoes to keep them as clean and dry as possible...I have rain boots if/when I need complete rain protection. Love them, they fit very nice but I did read another comment about having half sizes and that would be great because the shoes do seem just little big. Padding on ankle is nice but not stiff like a motocross boot would be. They will do the job for the price of them just don't expect to have them for years.

Great motorcycle riding shoes for the price they are, shoes are not heavy they are very comfortable I bought two pairs very very comfortable

Cons: they are narrow and very flat. I have narrow feet and even my feet get fatigue after about an hour standing in them. There’s very little vertical room over the top of the foot. They are narrow, both in width and in height. If you only ride in them and not putting much pressure, then it is not that bad. But, walking or standing in them does hurt the feet. Pros: they look nice. I like black, red and white contrast. Also the extra padding around the ankle area feels nice and comfortable. Overall, they’re not bad. But the designer should’ve added a little bit more vertical room for the feet.

After extensive research I ordered them and pleased to have them as my first pair of riding boots. Anyone complaining about zipper must bring both sides closer than zip them to alleviate stress on zipper

I am genuinely surprised by these! From opening the box to actually holding and wearing them, was pretty great. The quality really shines through in how well they're made and the matte finish with extra black laces is such a nice touch. Seriously, I barely had expectations, but these shoes went beyond.
