This was a new and different color for me. I'm enjoying seeing the different combinations that can be made.

I'm excited to use this to add some pop to paintings! It's somewhat sheer, but can be built up.

I love all Daniel Smith watercolors and these "duochromes" are very fun to use. They change colors as you add water, as you put it on the brush, as it's put on the paper, depending on what you are doing with them. Expect some magical and unexpected results. Very high quality watercolors -- they are my favorite brand of watercolor, actually. You get some unexpected color results but that is half the fun. Check out their authentic mineral paints. They also make some that are very grainy that are great for texture in your paintings.

This is such a beautiful color by itself but I haven’t found a color yet that it doesn’t mix well with or turn into a unique even more gorgeous color. I’m truly amazed by it.
