This device is very strong. I'm using it to keep leaves from blocking an outdoor drain. I had to bend some of the "legs" to get them to fit into the drain cover holes because they didn't match up. It took a lot of effort to get them all in but now it's not going anywhere and it's keeping the big oak leaves from interlocking and blocking this drain.

We were constantly having a problem with our sprinkler at the corner of our driveway being broken. After fixing it numerous times we looked for someway to protect it. This is the answer to our problem. It was placed over the sprinkler and pounded into the ground. A couple of days later it disappeared ... so we bought another and again secured the sprinkler and this time it worked. It's been a year now and still works ... very strong construction ...

This drain cover is great. It’s heavy gauge, so it won’t get crushed, and it extends down into the drain so it won’t get knocked out of place. It doesn’t restrict the water flow the way that other covers do, and it doesn’t get clogged with leaves. We’ve tried several different drain covers, and this is by far the best.

Fit perfectly for a roof drain on a flat roof area. Substantial and fit snugly into pipe w claw like design.
