Easy installation, great value and compatibility

I have a good number of Kingston USB thumb drives and they have never let me down. Recently bought a used Lenovo Think Pad which needed a bit of extra storage, the laptop has a MicroSD/Sim slot so I decided on this Kingston device. The computer picked it up immediately and have no problems reading and writing to and from the card. Quick delivery, does what was needed. Can't go wrong with Kingston, it's a brand which I've found to be very reliable.

It works like a charm. It is no difference then any other sd cards from other brands. I was worried at first as some people said it is not able to use for security camera. You actually have to format the card first when you first use it and it would work. It needs to be done for camera and other tech as well. Good value and I definitely would recommend to others and buy again if i need it again

SD CARDS such as these are useful for certain Internet set-top boxes with the SD CARD slot to insert these into. Once recognised by the Internet set-top box there will be a File Explorer or File Manager as well as other USB drive apps to test as well. I learned that some apps will create a database for images and contain these as hidden files and that also applies to apps on the set-top boxes and whatever USB drives get connected. So I installed Unseen Gallery and Hidden Files apps and discovered THOUSANDS of images as thumbnail versions of the original images accessed by various apps. We can save these and check duplicates as well as transfer these from set-top boxes to SD CARDS or USB flash drives such as the Sandisk Triple Packs of 32GB sized storage. Sorting out files could be easier if viewed on a PC instead. Some great things can happen with files, images and videos we can copy or download. We can sometimes direct downloads to SD CARD 1 or sda alternatives. We can keep more storage file space on the main set-top box but over time we need to get files moved to external storage sometimes using the path route as storage/external_storage/ then sdcard1 or sda and so on. We could use a basic SD CARD ADAPTER to insert the card into then connect that adapter to some USB port or USB hub. Sometimes OK, and sometimes not as user-friendly after all. The regular backups take time but are faster if using a computer or its external drive to transfer or copy files to. It's recommended that we COPY rather to MOVE as some MOVE actions don't work. We could lose files forever that way even if using File Managers or File Explorers or various image editing apps. So keep thinking about backing up and copy and keeping fewer files on the SD CARD itself and from then on it's a matter of GOOD LUCK WITH THAT because MURPHY'S LAW is still alive and kicking and every time we switch off a set-top box it's anyone's guess if the SD CARD works from then on or we see folders and files corrupted, destroyed or missing. So who knows how the hidden files have survived? Perhaps these are the extra way to salvage thumbnail versions of the lost original images? Who knows if a computer can access the SD CARD or needs a completely new installation file for that matter? To format or not to format may not be the right answer either way... Salvage what you can on the set-top boxes you've already got and maybe check Google for saving SD CARD files or USB drive files and any freebie that could help restore what you can see or not see...

Good as expected from chip, all good

Works brilliantly! After getting a dash cam & a memory card for it, I soon realised I needed a second one, because the capacity was filling up, ending my ability to record during my journeys. Unfortunately the first card I purchased, of a different brand, only worked once & of course stopped working after the return window- typical (unfortunately when I purchased the dash cam the cable for it snapped straight away, so hence why I only got the opportunity to use the card twice & realised it was broken after the return time ran out)! I’d purchased this as my second card & it has never let me down once! I worry, because I drive around some of the worst areas in the country for accidents (RAC & AA can back me up on this, especially talking crash for cash & I've had to out- drive 3 attempting this on me in the 18 months I’ve held my licence! Lucky I drove accompanied for 4 years, so I don’t exactly drive like a learner or a newly passed driver!) so I find it important to record everything. I was getting corrupt files constantly & missing many near- misses. I felt that 1 day I am going to have an accident & it’s going to record nothing! That’s pointless! So I figured out that it was the first card I purchased as I just mentioned & this has been a fantastic second card- this is now of course my primary card & I’m about to purchase some more! I would definitely avoid the magic brand I bought here on Amazon & stick to this Kingston brand, it hasn’t let me down once, formats quickly (in fact if you forget to format it & just delete the footage & pop it back in, it will work without problem) it formats easily & playback is perfect & clear (sound & vision)! I really wish I’d purchased more of these all along & not waisted my money, time & lost footage with my original card! The photo I’ve uploaded is an iPhone 11 Pro, taking photograph of my HP laptop playing but the footage & as you can see on a ridiculously bright- blinding sunny morning, the footage is still crystal clear & I can assure you the sound is exactly the same.

I bought 2 of these micro sd's, I use them pretty heavily, I use 1 to dual boot kali Linux for which it is a little bit low in capacity however the transfer speeds from it are pretty good, I used the other 1 as an internal storage for my phone and my parents also bought 1 for their camera, overall these are great for the price and for the average user absolutely enough however if you want to dual boot an operating system from them it may be worthwhile to get 64gb

Nie jest to pierwsza sztuka tej karty, mam w domu z 5 porozrzucanych po różnych urządzeniach i odpukać żadna jeszcze nie padła mimo tego, że jedna leży od ponad roku w Raspberry Pi, które jest włączone 24/7. Prędkości są adekwatne do deklarowanych przez producenta o ile posiada się odpowiedni czytnik kart z USB 3.0. Urządzenia w których są karty też nie wybrzydzają.
