Very handy test kit
I purchased this water testing kit to check the quality of my water after the installation of a water softener and RO system. The results were what I would have expected, with the RO water basically looking like the bottled water, and the softener water exhibiting way less hardness than the city water. The hardness results correlated well with the results I got from a titration type hardness test kit. I really like the completeness of this kit which includes a nice tall test tube type sample container and a waterproof color chart for comparing to the wet test strips. I also appreciate that the test strips are divided into ten individually sealed packages to extend the shelf life of the test kit. Overall, I think this test kit is a very simple and handy way to test your water, and the results seem to be accurate as far as I was able tell from the different sources I tested.

This Water Purifier truly SAVED OUR VACATION!!
We recently went on vacation and stayed in an beautiful Airbnb house surrounded by water. My family drinks water all day long & I anticipated that the tap water may not be up to their standard so I got on Amazon & ordered your Water Purifier to take just in case. I’m so glad I did because the water had a terrible odor and taste which would have been a deal breaker. The unit was easy to install & had various parts to fit all makes & models of faucets. It was unbelievable that the SJ Wave purified the water & made the flavor of our water perfect so that our trip was not ruined. I’m really impressed with your product & would highly recommend it! Not only was it a great value for the money it “saved the day.”

Even I, a self-proclaimed amateur water scientist, can handle it.
Well, well, well, let me tell you about my thrilling journey with the 16 in 1 Drinking Water Test Kit. I was fully prepared to discover that my tap water was secretly a toxic brew, ready to melt steel beams or at least give me mutant superpowers. Alas, I am disappointingly healthy and normal. Pros: Comprehensive Testing: This kit tests for everything under the sun—pH levels, hardness, chlorine, lead, iron, copper—you name it. It’s like having a mini CSI lab in your kitchen. Easy to Use: The test strips are idiot-proof. Just dip, and compare the colors to the chart. Even I, a self-proclaimed amateur water scientist, can handle it. Peace of Mind: For the hypochondriac in all of us, knowing that your water won’t turn you into a mutant ninja turtle is oddly comforting. Cons: Lack of Drama: After all the build-up, my water is shockingly… normal. No evil plot twists, no hidden contaminants, just good ol’ H2O doing its job. Anti-Climactic: I was ready for a conspiracy-level revelation. Instead, I got a pat on the back for having boringly safe drinking water. Where’s the excitement in that? Conclusion: If you’re expecting a thrilling ride through the dangers lurking in your water supply, prepare to be underwhelmed. The 16 in 1 Drinking Water Test Kit is a solid tool for peace of mind and ensuring your water is boringly safe. Just don’t expect any superhero origin stories to come out of it. Now, off to find another way to inject some drama into my life.

Get these...
IMO, these are the drinking water test strips to get. First, they come in inside a well-printed box in a a heavy-duty ziplock bag. There are 20 strips to a packet and each bag contains a desiccant and is itself resealable. All these packaging steps are important because exposure to humidity will greatly affect accuracy. And the color samples on the box need to be printed accurately (AFAIK, they are). So IMO they have done everything they can to get these to you in a good state and help you keep them that way for the expected two year life. Also, the instructions are simple, well written and easy to follow. That said, you wet the strip for 2 seconds and then have 30 seconds to check the color of each sample. It's easy to do the way the system is packaged, but I'd recommend placing the strip near the references (with the box still in the zip lock bag) and shooting a picture (in good lighting) so you can examine it more closely for a long period. I didn't notice that much of a change after a few minutes, but I see how that could happen with some readings. As mentioned, view in good lighting. There are 100 strips in the package so use a few to get the feel of. it. And don't forget to reseal the inner and outer pouches...

Easy to use but I'm not sure about the results
I personally don't love it. The normal parameters are not clear to me. I tested different waters and the colors are the same so I doubt if that really works. It is very easy to do it though

It did the job.
I must say some reviews have bad comments. For me it was about 90% accurate. Infact I did not like the results at all. Some where within normal parameters.. other were very alarming. Had some were the color was of the chart.. IDK is it was really bad or inconclusive specially with the flouride... overall I was satisfied with the product.. the test results were scary.. for the money it was worth it, instructions and chart quality and information it was really hood.

“Old” Kit, Inaccurate Results, No Thanks to FB!
I just received this kit two days ago. I noticed that the expiration date is 14Mar26, which was not noted in the product details of the Amazon iOS app. I was curious about it so I checked the manufacturer’s website, and it states that consumers should expect a two-year shelf life for these kits, and only 90 days for the individual strips once each packet has been opened. My kit will expire one year and five months from receipt instead of the two years I should be able to expect. Is that a manufacturer’s problem or Amazon’s problem? And take a look at the two different charts enclosed in the kit. One is part of a leaflet of information, and the other is a “waterproof” sticker. You can see the two charts side by side and again with the wet test strip between them. Most of the color blocks in the test parameters are somewhat clear enough to measure within the chart, and between the two charts, to be able to accurately compare them to the test strip. Some of the color blocks, however, are ambiguous to the point that making an accurate comparison is impossible. I’ve contacted my local water office with questions about our water re to the questionable parameters. One that I know is terribly inaccurate is hardness. Our water is extremely hard, just by using several easy-to-discern metrics like staining, spotting, laundering performance, etc. The test strip, however, shows that our water is at the lowest level re hardness. There are other parameters that look questionable, too. Finally, in order to be able to access “YOUR FREE E-BOOK”, you must install Facebook/Messenger. No, thanks. This is an easy return.
