Can the sword stick out

There is some movement, and my son thinks it’s supposed to move more, but we can only get it to move a few millimeters.

I'm trying to understand this beyblades. The launcher determines which way it spins, correct? The bigger launchers are dual, correct?

It is the launcher that determines which way the Beyblade is spun. The size of the launcher does not determine spin. It does not matter the size of the launcher. I have some launchers that spin only right and I have some launchers that spin both left and right. It’s not supposed to come out a lot and it’s not supposed to flip, my son watches the Bey Blade burst series’s over and over again, he knows the name of every beyblade and what they all do
