The bass is solid for the price range. It's not exactly like having a separate subwoofer, but still good volume and quality. Has a pretty rare usb/dc volt cable for charging so you'll have to be very careful and not lose it! Sound can be soft enough not to disturb people sleeping or loud enough to hear through a few rooms. The short cords are indeed lame, you have to park it right next to your power source and audio source if you need to use its aux cable. There's a good chance you'll be using extender cables. Bluetooth was hooking up to my audio sources very easily.

Not Super loud. But great sound. Was easy to connect and able to control the volume and the bass & treble separate - manually. Just wish it was louder or able to pair two.

So I bought this speaker because of the reviews and the price. That was a total mistake the purpose for this speaker is for outdoor use at the park and beach. The sound quality is weak, it turns off when outside at the beach, and the volume is so low this shouldn’t be on the market! As far as inside it’s nice and loud! So for indoor use in an apt yes it’s great! The battery life is great then. I will plan to return this and look for an outdoor party speaker!

I have several Blue Tooth speakers representing a wide range of cost, from $20.00 to $200.00 Bose. Some of the cheaper ones, of course, have "less good sound" ... comparatively (that is no surprise). That said, I am on record that THIS Sylvania speaker has the best sound of any of my other "under $30.00 speakers." It does, in fact, sound as good as my $50.00 speaker, though it is not as portable. It is much larger, with separate Volume, Treble, and Bass controls. And it pairs quickly with any of my music sources. I have not had occasion to use the Blue Tooth phone feature, so I have no comment on that. I only listen to Classical Music, and it is great for that.

I expected a lot more bass considering the size. I've got bt speakers that fit in the palm of my hand with better bass than this thing, even with the "bass" knob turned all the way up. The battery life is good however and it is loud enough for outdoor listening. I also like the blue lights.

Really cool speaker! Great sound quality, especially for such a lightweight unit. And, yes, it charges just fine from a wall outlet with a USB converter plug. Plus, it looks so cool when it's on in the dark, with it's blue-lit speakers. (And, seems to have decent battery life, but I admit I haven't pushed it) Only semi-negative thing for me is the "on" light keeps flashing after you stop using it, until you turn it off. If that doesn't bother you, then you're alright.

This was an "EMERGENCY" buy. My classroom projector went out and the replacement projector had a horrible speaker. The kids LOVE 'Big Blue" as we call her. The cable to go from my computer to the speaker is super short so we turned the speaker on it's side. I haven't figured out how to connect it through bluetooth. It sees the speaker, but for some reason never connects. I lost the power cable, but my son said it worked great. (Ordered another one which was a task since it's not a standard cable). The sound is great. My Girl Scouts used it for an outdoor video night (badge work). We could hear the speaker inside the house. Now others are asking to borrow my speaker. I do wish I could turn off the blue light. Really lost a star because the cable for the speaker is so short, and the bluetooth is wonky.

La verdad que es un albur siempre que compra uno barato. Algunas personas en los comentarios se quejan de muchas cosas y lo cierto es que el material se siente barato y frágil, pero funcionó sin problemas. Se carga rápido, la batería dura suficiente, se escucha subjetivamente bien, hasta mi viejo Ipad 4 se conecta al blutooth sin broncas. Ya veremos si dura el mes la felicidad.
