Amazon Basics Multi-Speed Stand Mixer with Attachments, Red

Love it. Suction cup feet keep it from moving across the countertop when using. This mixer isnt the heavyweight that my Kitchenaide is, but it also didn’t cost nearly as much. I use this Amazon Basics in my vacation home, for which it is perfect.

I've owned a Kitchen Aid (KA) for years. We winter in Florida, since this had good reviews and much lower in price, I decided to try it. I am so pleased with this mixer and have no complaints. Works as well as the KA.

This is a pretty good mixer. I bought it because I didn't want to pay $350+ for a KitchenAid, but obviously since this one is cheaper, it's not as nice. I do like the fact that this mixer has suction cups on the bottom, which most KitchenAid mixers don't even have. That has been great for heavier jobs like kneading bread dough! Because this mixer is cheaper, it's almost entirely made out of plastic, so you have to be careful with the heftiness of your mixing jobs. It can handle basic batters and liquid mixes perfectly fine, but I've noticed with thicker mixtures like bread dough, it struggles. It technically gets the job done for things like bread dough, but you have to use a very slow speed and I have had to hold my hands firmly down on the mixer when it's kneading. Otherwise, the top part that spins the dough hook moves wildly and almost looks like it will break if you don't put pressure down. As a home baker, this isn't a huge dealbreaker to me but someday it would be nice to have a sturdier, more expensive mixer.

UPDATE: I have used my mixer now for a year and it's still performing like a champ! I purchased it in 2019. I'm so happy with it! I can't believe the power and attachments. I have always wanted a stand mixer and now that I am older and the arthritis is kicking in I did some comparisons and came across this one. First of all, it has a more powerful motor than a certain name brand AND it's $100 dollars less. The mixer is great quality, very easy to use, and is very compact and easy to clean. I received it just before Thanksgiving and it was amazing to be able to whip cream without getting a hand cramp! Can't wait to start my Christmas baking now!

So far, so good. I have used the mixer to make bread, crumpets and yeast rolls. I was initially impressed with the bowl size but my bread recipe maxed out its capacity. In case you wonder, it called for approximately 11 cups of ingredients. And that, even at the lowest speed with the guard in place, sent flour everywhere. I have used all three attachments with good results but so far have only mixed at the lowest 2 speeds. I don’t think you can beat the price. If it remains reliable, I will be convinced it was a bargain. Now to find a cover.

My wife has had a mixer for years - first one lasted almost 40 years and second one only a few before the beaters started falling out. THIS NEW ONE is superb. So much easier to use and the one beater technology makes the job so much better and safer!

Received the first mixer which did not even turn on. Second one ground thru a basic cookie recipe. Tried bread dough which is why I bought it. Would not work at all. Do not know why Amazon would #1, put their name on it and #2, sell it! Don't waste your money

It looks well built but first time using it, it felt like the motor struggled a bit to knead the dough. Kept making grinding sounds here and there. Maybe the recipe I used was too much for the mixer. I'll be keeping it though. Bread came out great and delicious.

Great stand mixer. I suffer with arthritis and this machine has changed my life. It is priced at a great value and has all the attachments included. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

It works good, for what I wanted

I love that I put everything into the bowl and the mixer does all the work. It’s important to read all the instructions, which are easy to follow.

Bought this mixer because of the claim to be 800W. The sticker on it says 350W. Its great for light cakes, but struggled to mix a heavier batter. Had it not been for the false advertising, I would have been thrilled, but the expectation of a stronger motor is enough to ruin it for me.

Why pay more? This works as well as an expensive unit and it looks great.
