Hunter Sprinkler MINICLIK Rain Sensor

Great device. I have one for front yard, but a recent fence replacement lost the backyard one. They work great and avoid the necessity of turning off system when it rains.

With rainy season coming I knew I didn't want to try and remember when to turn my system on or off so I decided to make a small investment and purchase the Hunter Mini-Clik sensor. I couldn't be happier! It was super easy to install and it worked right away. I wasn't comfortable putting it on my roof line so I put a 1"x3" treated pine board in the ground next to the system and mounted it about 5' from the ground. Voila!

Good brand. Good product. Easy to install.

I pick this product because of the price i pay compared to other places. since installed I have no issues with it, work as advertised..

I installed this MINICLIK Rain Sensor On the Hunter ProC controller today. It was easy to connect the wires to the two SEN points in the Controller and also found a good place to mount sensor near the controller. The “operation check to verify correct wiring”, was not clear cut. Instructions tell you to turn on a zone and depress the spindle at the top of the sensor to test the wiring. Mine did not work as the zone was to shut off after depressing the spindle switch. I checked the Hunter web site and was told that you have to turn on the zone manually BUT not with the rotary knob as usual. The rotary knob does not recognize a rain sensor. You have to manually turn on the zone only by the one touch method on the Hunter ProC. Depress and hold the right arrow button to turn on. Once done after depressing the spindle the zone should immediately turn off, which mine did. Other than the small glitch of manually turning on a zone, everything went well and waiting on rain to come to fully test. Thanks Hunter.

I have not tried this yet, just got it. It came in just one of those padded bags, no box no paperwork no instructions. I think it must have been a returned item or a defective item. It may very well work just fine. I'll try to update this item later.

Received the product promptly from seller. I've installed it for a few days now and it has been ON/OFF raining in the area (both light rain & heavy rain storm from various hours). It is not always raining during my scheduled watering time but I think the sensor is working the way it should..

e' quello che cercavo x il mio impianto speciale di prelievo acqua da pozzo gestito da sensori e centraline digitali, mi serviva un sensore x quando pioveva per anticipare l'aumento della falda freatica di sorgente...eccolo, quando piove mi avverte e partono le pompe antiallagamento.....

Corta el riego bien y se reactiva después de unas horas después de la lluvia en función de la apertura de aireación. Muy sencillo para un programador Hunter Eco-logic.

Sensore pioggia da esterno normalmente chiuso. Quando piove l'acqua bagna dei dischetti di sughero che,.espandendosi, vanno a chiudere il contatto. Regolabile la quantità di acqua per l'attivazione. Si può usare per sistemi di irrigazione o per domotica. Collegato al mio sistema di domotica Samsung Smartthings con un sensore di allagamento aqara e quando viene attivato chiude le tende da sole. Non velocissimo il cambio di stato. Fissato alla ringhiera tramite fascette in metallo.
