Just what I needed, soft, pliable and sturdy.
Nice sheet of rubber. Solid and pliable. Just what I needed for cushion between two metal components.

The Swiss Army Knife of Rolled-Up Rubber
**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – “The Swiss Army Knife of Rolled-Up Rubber!”** I bought this 1/8-inch thick, 48-inch long sheet of neoprene for a “small DIY project,” which is exactly what everyone says before they accidentally start a neoprene hobby they can’t explain. When it showed up, it was rolled tighter than my willpower around a plate of nachos. Once I unrolled it, it just sat there on the table, quietly radiating the kind of confidence only a multipurpose sheet of rubber can have. It looked like it could fix a pipe, line a drawer, or turn into a discount Batman mask if things got desperate. The possibilities are endless: ✅ Makes a coaster for every drink in the house at once. ✅ Feels like a wetsuit and a pool noodle had a kid. ✅ Rolls back up into a surprisingly decent pillow if you’re sleeping on the couch for “buying more random materials again.” The only drawback is that every single person who sees it asks, “What’s that for?” and you have to shrug and say, “I’m not sure yet.” Bottom line: it’s a sheet of neoprene, it’s 1/8 inch thick, and somehow it feels like the most useful thing I own. I’ll probably buy another one and not have a plan for that one either.

Role of rubber. Great thing to have in the garage.
It may be good stuff. I just want to make everybody in my town a rubber doohickey to go under their car battery. Very satisfying. It's just a good thing to have in the garage.

Easy to work with and pretty tough, though a bit smelly.
Worked great for custom splash guards in my Tacoma. A little smelly, so use for outdoor only. Thickness works well for automotive push-pins and resists pull-through if you size the hole correctly.

Keeps my vinyl Chess mat from sliding around!
This is a great rubber backing to use on vinyl Chess mats. It not only lessens the thumping sound of pieces landing on the mat, but also keeps the mat from moving accidentally when sliding the pieces. And, although it’s a little stiffer, it is still easy to roll up for storage or travel. It would have been prefect if they made this material in the size of 24” x 24” x 1/16" square, but using this 12” x 48” x 1/16" works as well. After cutting it in half, I attached the two rubber backings to the back of my vinyl Chess mat as shown using Flex Shot Silicone Rubber and a plastic spatula to spread it around evenly. Then, I allowed the rubber sealant to cure for a full 24 hours where I then used an X-Acto knife to trim the excess rubber at the edges of the mat. Clean up is a little bit of work, but produces great results afterward.

Rubber sheet
Works great

Good flexibilty, yet stiff enough. I had to double the thickness using a special glue. That created a strong chemical bond. The material is relatively easy to cut with a sharp blade.

All good

I used it with screws and fender washers to hold tarp material in place with mostly even pressure (to prevent tearing of the material) so that it would not flap in the wind.
