Best starter train set ever.
I got this for my 18 month old grandson. It is his favorite gift this Christmas. One of his first words is choo-choo. The magnetic connectors are fantastic. So he has no problem with fussy connectors. Tracks are so easy he can do it himself. There are more advanced smaller pieces and track connectors we can add to it in stages as he grows old enough to use them so it continues to refresh his interest. My son is even giving him an extension set. Love tha that comes in it's own storage tub. Truly a company that sells a quality product.

My son loves this train set. The green connection pieces don't work as well as I thought they might but we use them as guard railings so they're still fun.

Tracks don’t all fit
This is a great value but—-The tracks include simple wood sections along with accessorized sections (switches, crossings etc.). The wood section connectors are part of the section and connect easily, however, the accessorized sections connect with plastic ball joints of which 9 out of 10 will not connect with other sections eliminating about half of the sections. So, although advertised with 36 track sections, only about half of them are actually usable
