Surprisingly Cool and Comfortable – A Game-Changer for Hot Weather Golf
If you’ve ever played a summer round where it felt like your hands were melting into the grips, you know the value of a good hot-weather golf glove. The FootJoy Men’s TropiCool has quickly become my go-to for warm, humid days on the course—and it absolutely lives up to its name. I picked this up looking for something lightweight that wouldn’t get soggy or slippery after a few holes. FootJoy is a brand I’ve always trusted for golf gear, and the TropiCool line caught my eye for its breathable design and focus on moisture control. From the moment I tried it on, I could feel the difference. Right out of the package, the glove felt incredibly light and flexible. The fabric has a soft, almost mesh-like texture that contours well to your hand without any stiffness or restriction. The fit is snug but not tight, and the Medium/Large size was just right for my hand shape—no bunching in the palm or fingers. Where this glove really shines is in the breathability. Even during mid-afternoon rounds in 90-degree heat, my hand stayed cool and dry. The moisture-wicking material works exactly as promised. No more peeling a sweat-soaked glove off after the front nine. It also maintains a good grip even in humid conditions—there’s a confident feel on every swing, without the slippery, damp sensation I’ve had with other gloves. After several rounds, it’s held up nicely. The stitching remains intact, and it hasn’t lost shape or elasticity, which is impressive for a glove this lightweight. It also washes and dries well without stiffening. Pros: Exceptionally breathable and moisture-wicking for hot weather Lightweight material feels soft and contours well to the hand Provides a consistent, non-slip grip in humid conditions Holds its shape and fit after multiple uses Stylish, clean look with the FootJoy branding If you play in warm or humid climates, the FootJoy TropiCool Glove is a must-have. It’s comfortable, durable, and keeps your grip dry even on the hottest days. Easily one of the best warm-weather golf gloves I’ve tried, and worth every penny for the added comfort and control.

Works well for sweaty hands.
I have very sweating hands, and during the hot southern Mississippi summer, I was using 4 gloves, switching them out every few hokes. Not with these, I have 2, use one for warm up and the other throughout the round. Club never slips, and my grips are 15 years old. Great gloves!

Excellent glove, great durability and grip.
These are the best golf gloves I've ever had! They're incredibly durable, and the grip feels very secure. I've played with one glove weekly for a year and they're still usable, just some wear on the seams around the thumb. I alternate between these and the FJ rain gloves and haven't felt the need to use a leather glove since.

Great in heat & humidity
Performs better than most, including other FJ gloves. Heat and humidity for me means sweaty hands. I normally use FJ Weathersof as my go to and have for years. Tried this Tropicool glove (first time) for a quick golf trip from Dallas to Corpus Christi over long Labor Day weekend. Day 1 went thru 2 Weathersofs (soaking wet). Pulled out the new Tropicool on Day 2. Performance: Great, and only glove used days 2-3. It is very light and airy, and seems to stay fairly dry in some miserable conditions. It was very hot and very lite winds. Looks like I've been doing handstands on blacktop pavement. They got really dirty just from normal usage. Have not tried hand washing yet, but maybe I will. I like the glove for those kind of days..

Nice alternative to rain gloves on a sunny day.
I sweat a lot when it gets hot and humid so I've resorted to wearing rain gloves on both hands to maintain a good grip on the club. I saw these gloves and thought I'd give them a try and so far so good. The single glove on my left hand provided great grip through out the entire round on a very hot and humid day. The material on the glove's palm is similar to a rain glove but the overall look of the glove is nicer. The glove seem well made enough to last as long as any quality golf glove would so we'll see how that part goes.

Best overall sweaty hand & hot weather glove. My go-to
This glove is the absolute best overall for hot weather. I have trouble with my gloves getting drenched after 1 hole in texas. I tried 4 different breathable gloves. Only 1 had better cooling performance, but was comprised after only 1 round & 1 range session. This footjoy, I used all summer & it's still going strong. Rain, sweat or shine, it maintains good grip on my clubs. Until I can afford a brand new glove of the other brand that wears out every round, I'm sticking with this.

Decent Glove, But Could Be Better
The FootJoy Tropicool Golf Glove is a lightweight and breathable option for warm weather. The moisture-wicking material helps keep hands dry, and the grip is decent, providing reasonable control during swings. However, the durability is a bit lacking—it wears out quicker than expected, especially with frequent use. The fit is comfortable, but after a few rounds, it starts to lose its shape. Overall, it’s a good glove for hot conditions, but for the price, I expected better longevity. Decent, but not my top choice.

best glove for all conditions
This is a must if you play in hot and humid conditions. The moisture wicking is impressive. It's also a capable rain glove and has replaced my Footjoy Raingrip glove. This one works just as well and is more comfortable. It may not be as durable as other gloves but when I wear one out I put it aside and it becomes my rain-only glove and works great for that purpose. These are the only glove I play with now and the best I have found in all my years of golfing.
