Great protection for my lens. I just throw my camera in my purse and this keeps the scratches off my actual lens without affecting the image quality.

There are a couple of reviews that indicate the adhesive is tough to remove. I did make a mistake on initial placement and was able to easily remove this with the included fishing wire. Other wise the filter does its job. It does not affect the picture quality, fits perfectly on my Ricoh GR IV and looks seamless on the camera.

This protective filter worked perfectly. Very stealthy. Recommend for sure.

Easy to apply, added a blue tint to my photos though. Removal resulting in destroying the shutter assembly on the camera . Pulled it off on several pieces and cannot be replaced or repaired. Good times.

Quality product, useful for Ricoh cameras

Be careful if you are trying to remove the filter. I followed the exact method shown in their product video to take off the UV filter, which was slightly misaligned. Even though it had been attached only a few seconds earlier, the adhesive was so strong that it completely removed the front lens cover component of my brand-new Ricoh GR III HDR. Luckily, I was able to reattach the part, and everything still works. I gave up on removing the filter and decided to live with the slight misalignment.

I used my Ricoh GR III in various situations, including landscape and street photography, and kept it in my pocket most of the time. I purchased the JJC UV Protective Filter back in March 2023. After two years of use, I found the filter most useful for protecting the lens from dusts and scratches. Its life finally came to its end during the scorching summer of 2025, when I took a road trip to the Gulf Coast. Due to the heat, the glass detached from the filter ring, which was still glued to the camera. As other reviewers have noted, the glue is extremely strong--so much so when I removed the filter, it nearly pulled off part of the lens's outer component, even after two years of use. The glue and the removal process can also leave scratches on the lens housing, which happened in my case. Would I purchase another one to protect my camera from dust and scratches? Perhaps.
