Won't roast a chicken without it!
Simple design at a great price! I would never roast a chicken without one of these great little stands. It's so easy to make a delicious dinner with it and the skin gets crispy all the way around and cooks beautifully. I put the chicken on the stand, brush it with melted butter and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and oregano and always get a perfect chicken. (My husband said it's his favorite!) I previously had this type of product but it was getting rusty so I needed to replace it. I like this one much better because the previous one had a "dish" attached to the bottom to catch the juices, but it still needed to fit in a larger pan. With this one, I can remove the whole chicken to a cutting board (with the stand still inside the chicken & then easily remove the stand once it's on the cutting board) leaving all the juices & bits in the pan to use for gravy. With the previous one that has a dish attached to it, I would have to lift the chicken out of the larger pan with the stand and dish still stuck inside the chicken and then try to pour off the juices in the little pan while not burning myself and making a mess. This one is much simpler, has a nice non-stick coating for easy cleaning and does exactly what I need it to do.

Perfectly roasted from all angles.
This chicken roaster produces a perfectly roasted chicken. However, it should be about an inch taller to accommodate the entire length of a chicken with a longer neck.

Looooooooove this roaster!!!!!
What a great invention! My roasted chicken comes out PERFECT every time! The meat is sooooooooo tender and juicy that a whole chicken practically falls off the bone! So I am now addicted to roasting chickens in the oven because it's so simple to do, quick (only several minutes of actual work time) and sooooooooo economical. One serving of chicken with a side dish cost me one to two dollars per person. You can't beat that! I roast two birds at a time and save one for tomorrow's dinner :) You don't have to pre-marinade because the chicken comes out so tender when using this vertical roaster. Here's how I do it ... I coat the chickens inside and out with a strong mixture of lime juice, salt and oil. Roast at 450 degrees for 20 minutes, lower to 350 degrees and cook for 1 hour and 20 minutes more. You may have to adjust the latter time to your oven. Let rest for 20 minutes, then carve. At this point, you can pour your sauce of choice on top of the chicken pieces, move oven shelf up and broil on low for another 10 minutes or so. Yuuuuuuuuummy! You will get a completely different chicken this way. Happy roasting!

Easy to clean
I love this thing I’ve had it for like a year. It’s super easy to clean and hasn’t fallen apart or chipped in any type of way. The chicken is pretty easy to get on and off of it. The only thing is if you have a tiny game hen. It’s not the best size for it. It needs to be a full-size chicken.

Used to coo a beautiful turkey
I used this to bake by a fourteen pound turkey. Beautiful and really inexpensive compared with cost of turkey roasting pans. Crispy skin all around.

Works, but...
my bad. I didn't pay enough attention to the specs and it's so small. I was replacing one about twice it's height and, though this works, it's not as stable for larger birds. The verticle roasters cook the bird better and keep it out of the fat while browning the skin so well. I highly recommend one, but this was the tallest available on Amazon at the time. I hope there'll be a taller one offered. Note: spray or brush with a touch of oil to allow for easy release. My other one finally began to lose it's coating after so many washings. Lasted for years with the coating and only began to stick as the coating degraded. I had washed so it lasted a long time. Adding a spritz of oil keeps you from having to scrub at the coating and I expect a really long life from this product.

Such a simple device but makes a bit difference. 360 degrees of nicely crisp skin. I use this every time I roast chicken and it never fails me (hint- roast the chicken with head facing down). Cleaning is ok...just soak and the next morning a light brush cleans off anything left. Highly recommend this.

Used this with a 4lb chicken in my convection oven and it turned out great. As instructed on Fox Run website, I inserted neck side down. Very juicy meat both white and brown. Highly recommend. Cleaned up well and seems quite sturdy. I was considering buying an air fryer but really don’t have the room, then remembered my convection option on my oven. Using this gadget and air crisper tray (not shown) pretty much does the same job.

I'm not too sure what the chicken thinks of this thing but it does do the job and cooks the chicken all over at the same time. Of course you can't stuff the chicken. You need to put it on a cake pan or something to catch the oil which if you like you can use to baste the chicken while cooking. You need to put on lower rack as when chicken is standing up its a bit tall.
