This bed is great! I was going to return it because my dog didnt like going into it. I wish it came with a pool noodle for more support of the arch. I flipped the cap to the other side and now they use it as a regular bed and its their favorite. I will say its pricey but very soft and great quality.

It is easy to assmemble and disassemble for washing. All my dogs love it weather they are using the cave section or jsut laying on top of it.

My dog and the cats love it. Seems to be holding up well after a few months. Size is perfect for my Italian greyhound. Definitely not chew proof if your dog is a chewer. My only complaint is when we first got it the Sherpa inside shedded for awhile.

My miniature dachshund LOVES this bed! He really loves to dig and burrow, and this bed has been a huge help. It is a good size for him (he is 7.5lbs) and seems to be comfortable. It is easy to take apart, clean, and reassemble. My only complaint is that the white fuzz on the cover is easy to remove. My dog loves to dig it up and it gets all over my house, but it keeps him entertained and is nothing I can’t vacuum up.

My dogs love this bed. Sadly, because the cover is inferior quality, (faux sherpa & thin faux suede material for the grey part) it will need to be replaced. Not only does the faux sherpa constantly shed (still 2 years later), it is worn completely through in several spots and actually has large holes now as I have a small dog who likes to scratch & burrow for a few moments before he curls up for naps, and that has caused damage to the underlying memory foam (chunks of foam are coming off). I had to remove the plastic tube that makes it pop open for them to crawl inside and be cozy, and instead flip the whole bed upside down for my 3 small dogs (all under 25 pounds) to still be able to lay on top of it with the non-damaged side of the cover exposed, which basically turns it into just a regular dog bed and not the cozy "cave" they love. I have other older dog beds with much more durable covers that have withstood many washings and dog use. I'll be shopping for another one of these with better quality. Spend a bit more and get one with a more durable cover! This one is probably going in the garbage unless I can figure out a way to replace the damaged material with something more substantial that is still washable.

It’s really cute and my dog loves it so far. I wouldn’t exactly call it orthopedic though, as the foam insert is a pretty cheap quality more like a thin eggshell foam topper not memory foam or anything. The way the insert is made to hold up the blanket cover part doesn’t actually hold it up so he’s still figuring out how to get under it without me lifting it up for him. Once he does get under it though, he sleeps like a baby.

My 40lb dog loves it! Easy to set up and as soon as I put it on the ground he walked right in and got comfy. He has torn up all his previous beds and I’m hoping a covered bed is what he needed. It’s way larger than I thought it would be and I’m planning to order the smaller size to put in another location. Seems pretty well made from my perspective.

You get what you pay for with this product, that's for sure. Don't believe all the pretty images of this bed; it is MUCH thinner than it is made to appear in those promo shots. I would say that the 3.5 inch measurement is a *generous* measurement for this bed, and I have gotten thicker ortho mattresses from a ubiquitous big box store's pet section. The cave is spacious, though, compared to other similarly priced "cave" beds. It is large enough that you can pull the front edge of the cave forward and completely cover the bed, so if your dog truly hates or will not use the cave part, you'll at least have another .25-.5 inches of padding... which it needs, since the fleece is very cheap, as is the fabric. As for the cave function... well, I can't really say much on that, as my bed arrived with no hoop to prop the cave open, so my whippet isn't using it as a cave yet. Overall, while functional, the bed itself is a disappointment, even for it's low price. The shipping, however, was absolutely ATROCIOUS! The bed was wadded into a ball, stuffed into a sack, crushed down even further, before being inserted into a plastic shipping envelope, like one would use to ship a single t-shirt from those $10 a shirt type sites. A lot of tape was then used to further crush the awkward football of bed down, and that is... pretty much it. The bed wasn't even folded *neatly*; it was literally smooshed down into a rough ball and taped up in a pretty shoddy plastic bag. Perhaps that is why the shipper took such wretched care with the package, because it arrived looking like it had been tossed into a shredder. I cannot honestly say if a hoop was included with my bed the way it was supposed to be, because of the state of the packaging when I received it... The hoop could have easily fallen out through the multitude of holes ripped into the outer plastic. I did, however, receive instructions on how to insert the hoop that was supposed to be included... but I am very much at a loss to see how the hoop could have even *fit* into the frankensteinian football that was chosen as the shipping method. All in all, while the bed *is* serviceable, I'm not convinced that it is worth even the low price that I paid for it due to the cheapness of the materials used to make it. If I *did* ever decide to get this bed again for some reason, though, I would definitely buy it elsewhere; as thin as this bed is, it could have *easily* been NEATLY FOLDED down into a shipping box, rather than crushed into a misshapen ball and taped into plastic. Very disappointed with both the quality of the bed, and the shipping.

Se la compré a mi Dachshund y la amo! así puede estar calentito y meterse en la cobija como tanto le gusta. Es muy buen material muy buena calidad. La esponja es firme pero esponjosa. Recomendado!

Dachshunds love to burrow and 'cave beds' seem to be the general favourite of the breed but I recently realised that the one she preferred had gotten very thin on the bottom. As she will be turning 15 soon, I set about looking for a nice orthopedic one for her...and this is perfect! It's kept in my office so she is in it the majority of the day but of an evening she often 'asks' to go in there to climb into her new favourite bed! As you will see from the photos, we didn't insert the opening tube as she likes to snuggle in it but it does mean I have to lift it up for her to get into; she can do it herself but she's a bit of a diva! She is an only fur-child but this bed would easily fit two of her in and she's a larger miniature dachshund at 6.5kg but the mattress is so lovely and thick (looks like an egg box when you get it) she barely makes a dent in it so would be fine for heavier doggos too. Very impressed and will probably have to buy another for the lounge!

We got the largest size for our 30kg gsp. Took her about a week to work out how to get under the hood but now she knows. Glad we got it-hot nights she sleeps on top-cold she sleeps in it.
