Good Christmas Treat
I have bought stollen for years but can’t seem to find it locally so I was very happy to find this one on Amazon. It came quickly and was fresh and delicious. Like most treats, try not to eat too much! I do put each slice in microwave for ten seconds.

Best Christmas Stollen
This is the most delicious Stollen! It’s my husband’s favorite. I try to find it for him every Christmas. What a treat to discover it right here on Amazon with an amazing seller. My purchase arrived earlier than expected and in great condition. Five stars!!!

Excellent
Even though this product is rather pricy, it is definitely worth it. My parents, aunts and uncles were all from Dresden. I grew up with homemade stollen every Christmas. This tastes just like my grandmother and aunts used to make. It has just the right amount of sugar on top. Not to sweet nor dry. Also, I prefer only raisins only leaving out the candied dry fruit...which this does. So, if I could, I'd give it a 10!

Great disapointment
I was born in Germany . My mother used to make Stollen each Christmas. Since her passing I have been making it and refining the recipe over the years. I have watched videos of how the Dresdner Stollen is made and each year I thought about ordering one. Well this year I did and it was plain and simply terrible. No better than a store bought one. Very mushy, too soggy, too sweet- could not really get a taste of the bitter almonds. All in all a waste of money

7+ months beyond expiry
We have bought this stollen from other sellers before and they have tasted great. However, this one isn’t as good and upon closer examination of the packaging, the “best before” date (quasi expiration date) is 04/01/2024 (see picture). At best, this is over 7 months beyond the suggested date of April 1st (at worst, it’s over 11 months beyond January 4th pending if this is European or American date convention). The seller of this is Hoot Products and I do not recommend this seller. Will be buying from another seller albeit longer to ship; perhaps that’s because they don’t have old inventory that is sitting around and pass the suitable date for consumption.

Super tasty. Moist.
Best ever stollen. Highly recommend for self or as a gift. Box is lovely and requires no more wrapping if a gift. Was very flavorful and fresh (how ? But it sure was!) ,…..moistness was just right. I’ll buy again next holiday season.

Good but not worth the price
I had this brand Stollen served from a beautiful gift tin at an event and it was the best Stollen I ever had- it was remarkably flavorful, moist and delicious. I took a picture of the tin and found this same brand offered on Amazon but in a cardboard gift box. This one is good but completely different from the one that prompted my splurge. It is dry and unremarkable. Feels stale in spite of not being expired. It cost $37 and is very comparable to the $6 Aldi loaves I buy regularly.
