They work SO well, they're hard to get off the wall!
We stick these to the wall in our food truck and use them to route cords mostly. They could also be used to hang things. The magnets are very, very strong and once attached to a metal surface they take some real force to remove. A lot of items here on Amazon list how many pounds they can hold, but when you get them their capacity is nowhere near what they said. These hold a lot of weight, and they work great!

“These Hooks Are Stronger Than My Commitment to Staying Organized”
I bought the DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks thinking, “Yeah okay, magnets, whatever.” Wrong. These things don’t stick—they attach themselves emotionally to metal. First off, the strength. They say 70 lbs horizontally, which I believe, because once I slapped one onto a steel beam, it felt like I’d angered it by trying to remove it. Vertical use drops the capacity, which is fair—gravity is rude—but it still holds way more than I expected. Jackets, tools, extension cords, bags, random stuff I swear I’ll put away later… all hanging like obedient little soldiers. No drilling, no holes, no regrets. You just click it onto metal and boom—instant organization. I rearranged my garage three times in ten minutes because suddenly I had power. These hooks made me feel like a minimalist with a plan, even though chaos still exists two feet away. The swivel carabiner is clutch. It rotates, it flexes, it adapts—unlike me when I drop something and have to bend over. And yes, the magnet is strong enough to scratch stainless steel, so heed the warning and throw a tissue or paper towel behind it unless you enjoy explaining mysterious scratches to your significant other. Lifetime guarantee? Bold. Confident. Deserved. I’m pretty sure these magnets will outlive me and be discovered by future archaeologists who’ll assume they were used to hang ancient power tools. Final verdict: If you have metal nearby and stuff lying around, buy these. They won’t fix your life, but they will hold your junk like they mean it. Just don’t put your fingers between the magnet and steel unless you enjoy learning lessons the hard way.

Serious holding power to steel.
Magnets with extreme holding power. Using eight to hold webbing protected 12v jumper cables to metal chassis of equipment. Make sure you know where you want magnets, before placing them on steel. Else you will struggling with a pry bar screwdriver to break magnets free. Caution: Don't accidentally get flesh between two of 200lb magnets. Work with one at a time.

Very effective for car/SUV camping applications
They hold to a SUV body strong enough that the average male couldn’t pull them off if they didn’t have the attached carabiner to grasp. There are 2 applications where I use them: the first is to seal a SUV tent’s gaps to my SUV body so that rain, wind, and bugs can’t easily enter through the contour gaps; and the second is to mount flexible solar panels to my SUV so that they won’t blow off in high winds. The downside is that they rust. I have to periodically rub them down with WD40 to arrest the rusting.

They are strong!
They are strong, getting another order. Very handy for truck drivers. I use them to reinforce the signs I bought, but they are great for flags as well. Getting another box, 7 is not enough, 14 is plenty. Really like the removable carabiner. You will need the carabiner to remove the magnet....they are strong!

This is a great product. The magnets are very strong requiring the need for both hands to pull off my tool cabinet. Be careful, it may scratch the surface it is attached to.

These have a strong grip, but they could do with either an O ring, or some silicone so they don't scratch automotive paint.
