Great Rubbermaid hand held whisk broom for my needs. I use it for our outdoor cushions as that is the easiest wau for me to brush the dust/dirt off. Good price. I can't speak on how long it will last, but im sure it will be fine for a number of years. Its not a real thick cornbroom, but I feel its thick enough to do the job.

The only thing that gets to those tiny cracks and crevices. Works like a charm. Thanks Amazon.

Good old Rubbermaid doesn't seem to put its name on anything substandard. Nor anything particularly superior, but reliability and trustworthiness matter, and most of what they sell is mundane, quotidian household implements not easily innovated. This is an excellent example: once upon a time you could buy a serviceable natural whisk broom in any dime store. Today, all innovation seems aimed at making them cheaper, either using cheap plastic materials, cheap robotic construction, or simply skimping on everything. Rubbermaid still offers a substantial, real whisk broom. It's nothing special except by being good while nearly all other whisk brooms seems to be rubbish (or expensive boutique items).

This was definitely not the cheapest whisk broom I looked at before making my decision so I can’t say “you get what you pay for”. I thought the Rubbermaid brand would add some respectability to the product. Not so. I ordered this because I felt like my vacuum wasn’t quite getting all the dog hair off of my stairs. When I was a kid (and I’m not that old), I’d whisk our carpeted stairs and it always did an amazing job. I’d just vacuum everything up at the bottom. Well, it took me quite a while to get through about 5 stairs and the broom wasn’t really working. I think a big drawback is the way it was wrapped. Several pieces of straw kept digging into my hand at the top which made it extremely uncomfortable to hold. I actually found the one I already owned from 15+ years ago (don’t know the brand) and there’s no comparison. My old one is wrapped well and is very sturdy. Nothing digging into my hand on that one. I’m sure I’ll find a purpose for this one in the future so I’ll hang onto it. But I wouldn’t buy another. I think this is a product to buy in person, if you can.

I like the strength of the bristles themselves and texture. I thought the handle was a little short to start with but I got used to it. I bought it to help clean paving stones in the garden- the debris that gets stuck between them and causes moss and weed build up. It does the job as well as I could expect but unfortunately I am losing bristles each time I use it. So I imagine I will get one summer use out of it at best until there are hardly any bristles left. It is a shame because otherwise it feels a top quality hand broom.

Great little broom. I use it to brush off debris and spiders on my patio furniture. Back to buy another one as I left mine outside over the winter and it turned green as I live in a temperate rain forest. Buying one for the cabin as well.

I use this item to clean my truck out and it seems to be sturdy enough to get the job done. Works on carpets and mats inside the trucks cab.
