After using this for months, great product. It keeps my coffee beans, nice and fresh.

I love these coffee containers and ultimately bought 3 more after buying the initial one to try. I now have two 11 oz and two 16 oz containers. I use the 11 oz for my paper basket filters to keep them clean and the 16 oz for my coffee. The containers seal well, and the latch is easy to use. I have never had an issue with coffee going stale in these containers, though I admit that I drink enough coffee that it isn't sitting in there for months on end. I find that the included scoop is perfectly sized for my usage with my 5-cup coffee maker, so it was an added bonus.

I definitely like this item and would recommend it with some caveats. I've had it for a couple of months now and do think that the flavor of my coffee has smoothed by shifting it's storage from the freezer to this canister, which is primary reason for my purchase. In addition it is nice to look at and well constructed. There are two recommendations/feedback to offer to company (and those purchasing): 1. The small and large size are just OK and have room for a standard size coffee bag with room. However, if you purchase a 32oz bag even the large canister will not store that amount of coffee. It is too small. The sizes are off when you compare to the sizes of coffee you can purchase. 2. The company needs to make the dials on the top easier to manipulate. For an older person (which I am not at this point) it would be more than difficult, if not impossible for them to maneuver and makes the dial a pointless feature. I would say the same for anyone who has arthritis. I plan on buying another one or two as gifts this holiday season.

I found this item from a review on Youtube. It does not hold a full pound of the whole beans I bought from my local roaster. The Gator does come in a larger size, which includes a travel-size container. If I had it to do over again, I would have purchased that package. It's just before Christmas--so the Gator canisters are discounted, making them a good deal. The seal on the canisters is tight--the clamp has a strong hold but is easy to open and close. The finish is a matte espresso brown/black and has not become scratched or scuff though I have it packed in tight with other items in my coffee cupboard. I have another canister with a bracket that sticks out for holding a metal coffee scoop. This takes up more room, and the metal protrusion may jeopardize my glass French press if I'm not super careful. Therefore, I like that the metal scoop that comes with the Gator canister is separate, and the sides are smooth except for the handle to open the clamp. I would love to have something like the airspace, but it's considerably more expensive. I chose to put my money into a really nice Timemore hand-grinder and have no regrets about that decision. The dial on top for date and month makes keeping track of freshness easy. Overall, it is a good addition for the price--and I would go for the larger size if you want to store a standard size bag of coffee beans.

This airtight container seems to be keeping my ground coffee mice and fresh and looks good However, it arrived with a small dent on the bottom/edge and - after only using twice - the stainless steel scoop handle just fell off. Obviously it wasn't properly welded on, or had it been glued? This is why I can only give this product 3 stars.

Une bien belle boîte à café, avec un filtre et un clapet de degasage pour le café en grain fraîchement torifié. 3 autres filtres sont fournis. La boite paraît vraiment qualitative et solide, elle est magnifique se qui ne gâche rien. Le petit doseur de 40ml est également de bonne qualité, le métal est assez épais et sera très solide dans le temps. Pour info je rempli le doseur de décaféiné moulu pour un machine Delonghi et c'est la bonne dose.

Sul tappo del contenitore è inserito un datario per calendarizzare il giorno di tritatura del caffè. Spedizione ottima e veloce considerando anche lo sdoganamento. TOP

This is an amazing product and I highly recommend it. I have an espresso coffee machine that grinds the coffee within the machine. I used to fill the chamber up with the coffee beans. Now, however, I take a scoopful from my Coffee Gator, put it in the chamber and grind that up that one scoop. I honestly can't believe how much fresher and better my coffee is now. And, I have no idea why, but I don't get any "shaky" feelings after drinking my coffee. I only have one cup a day, and it is now the a major highlight for me! Thank you
