Aurora - Miyoni - 9" Grey Tabby Kitten

I purchased this stuffed animal for our daughter as part of a series of comfort measures when her beloved tabby Dickens, aka Catzilla, passed away unexpectedly this past week. She told me that she felt like his spirit was still with her, but she felt sad because she couldn't physically hold him any longer. I know a stuffed animal isn't a replacement for a feline family member, because no matter what kind of crud I have talked about him that's really what he was, but I thought having a stuffed animal to hold and squeeze when she felt sad might comfort her until she feels ready to adopt another kitty and bring him/her home. And if nothing else, it would reminder her how much she is loved. I picked this one because Dickens was a tabby of similar appearance, and I know my daughter, and felt that would be the most meaningful to her at the time. So this is a very soft, very cool looking stuffed animal. There is pink shading in the depths of the ears, and a deeper rose pink shading around it's nose. The eyes sparkle a shimmery gold, and to be perfectly honest, ours looks much nicer in real life then it does in the picture on-line. The fur also has a glossy sheen to it, but not so glossy as to look overtly artificial. It seems to be well stitched, and there are stitched markings on the paws to designate toes. We do have experience with this brand of stuffed animal, my daughter's all time favorite toy was made by Aurora company, and I have to say, it has been INSANELY durable. She's had it for years and it's still going strong and I haven't had to repair it once, so I am reasonably optimistic that this one will also hold up well. My daughter has told me she already loves this tabby that we got, and she went to sleep holding it tightly to her chest last night. We had no problems with shipping, we have Amazon prime, but in a tender mercy, this thing arrived a day after I ordered it, and it was protected in a plastic bag, and it came unbent and unblemished. So for us, though this was not purchased to commemorate a happy occasion, we can none-the-less report that it appears to be a beautifully crafted stuffed animal and I am very happy with the condition and quality of this item as it arrived and at this time.

I got this as a gift for a little girl who loves cats. I was a little hesitant because some of the reviews said they didn’t think the little kitty’s face was very cute, but the one I got is really nice and I think the face is really sweet. I have not taken it out of the plastic bag because I want to keep it clean until I transfer it to a box to wrap it, but it seems well-stuffed and soft. It is not too big, which is also nice for my purposes. I think it’s a great value for this price.

This is the cutest little stuffed kitten toy. I love how it looks like it's ready to play. Very realistic, soft, quality manufacturing. I got this as a gift for a toddler who loves kittens but it would make a great gift for any cat lover, child or adult. This would also be a great items for elderly dementia patients or special needs child or adult who needs a pet to cuddle.

So cute and so soft! The detail on it is kind of amazing, the little button nose is adorable, it's in the shape of a heart, and there is a pink tint around the nose, giving it good shading. The eyes make it look sad though, so I'd say plus/con for that - just because it makes it even more "huggable". I am not a huge fan of the tag, but it's nice quality stamped felt. it can be cut away easily. The paws are also great, it's hard to see in my images, but there are white threads that define each paw. On the underside of the paw, there is a different material to make the illusion of it being more lifelike. When you brush your hand over the "fur" it does seem almost shiny. The best way that we have found to clean it to not turn it into a pilly stuffed animal is a baby wipe. I am actually impressed with how much I love this item. It's posed as if he is ready to pounce, and the legs can be "molded" to make it running, but resets to the original pounce pose when set down on all four. Would recommend, 100%.

My “work mom” has a cat she takes care of. It lives somewhere around her apartment complex, and it sleeps at her unit most nights. I love cats, and I wanted a way to bring that cat (Smokey) into the office so she could see a fuzzy face every day that reminds her of Smokey. This was PERFECT!! I just placed it on her desk in front of her keyboard, and she LOOOVED IT!!! Now the other office staff place it in different areas around her desk as kind of a running joke. It’s honestly the most adorable thing that could have happened. Anyway, the product itself is adorable, well-built, and it’s little face will make anyone’s day! 10/10 would recommend!

My daughter’s pet cat recently crossed the rainbow bridge and so I bought her a look a like plush to bring comfort. She is in love with this plush. It’s a little dirty in the pictures as she takes it everywhere with her. It needs washed. But it’s soft. Very nicely made. Great quality. Realistic colors. Firm. Worth the money!

These are great for grieving purposes to help ease the pain a little bit. For giving it as a gift, you can also write on the tag who it is to and and from. I sometimes get a burning chest empty feeling when feeling depressed, but when I lay this on top of me, it kind of helps relieve the pain a little, as if having my real cat on me. My cat passed away and I miss him so much. I tried to look for a similar looking one that's close to my cat, although not exactly, this one really caught my attention. Actually, the expression on this remind me of my cat's personality. I really love the pose on this the best because he looks like he's about to pounce with its tail up. It's soo cute! Also, the pose makes it great for laying it on top of you or on a couch... it looks really cute. The paws have beans inside to keep the weight down. You can actually pull back the ears to make it look like it's trying to listen to something or being angry. I know quality control is a hit or miss with stuffed animals; the reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because mine looks a bit more upset because how the fur came on mine. Even in the stock product photo, in the second photo where he's facing to the left, he looks a bit sad... There was also some scratches on the eyes. I'm just going to keep it because despite the flaws, this was the chosen one for me. Haha Overall, though, it's nice for cat lovers and I'm very picky. I attached some photos.
