Sony Alpha 6100 | APS-C Mirrorless Camera ( Fast 0.02s Autofocus, Eye Tracking Autofocus for Human and Animal, 4K Movie Recording and Flip Screen )

Bought the camera for Iceland, I am still to figure out everything since I am a beginner but it’s really easy to carry around, it’s not heavy and the picture it takes are amazing.

Had this camera 7 yrs and still working great, only use on occasionally on holidays but also on day outs when I can, for an entry level mirrorless camera it's still a great camera

I've been using sony a 6000 for few years now and still love using it. When they announced a6100 with some additional features that my a6000 lacks , I thought this will definitely meet my expectation. I bought this camera for my friend and this is going to be his first Sony mirror less. Although a6100 closely resembles it's brother a6000, there are so much user friendly features in the former. These are the improvements I've seen with this camera which is really useful if you are a blogger or video content creator. - capability to record 4K videos - improved auto focusing with subject tracking - tiltable screen - option to plug in 3.5 mm microphone rather than depending on hot shoe. - the boring menu system changed to a much more attractive and coloureful menu. The downsides I experienced with this camera are - it still lacks In body image stabilization - although there is touch focus capability, this is limited with some functions. Overall, it's a great affordable mirrorless camera that is able to meet most of your photographic and videographic needs especially there are very limited rivals in this price bracket.

Fantastic camera, i needed something a little small than my DSLR. Heard good reviews on this camera, great speed of shot. I have a neurological disorder and I shake alot, but this camera is really stable. Also brought a K&F concept adapter so i can use my Nikon lens with this Sony.. Really happy with the camera for it lightness, easy to use on wildlife shoots and in the mountains.

Well made camera that feels solid & good to handle. Love the amount of features & puts it into a higher end camera. The option of a viewfinder is a nice bonus with inline view on screen. Finally the price was the best value out there coming in far cheaper than anywhere else.

Love this camera easy to use and comes with two lenses a 16 to 50mm motorized lens and a 50mm to 210 manual lens and both of these give a really good sharp pictures. All the camera settings give you information on how to use them. The camera is well made and feels good when holding it. You can also take 4k video with.

Fulfils what was promised

Despues de varias semanas viendo videos y leyendo reseñas de este modelo es la mejor opción calidad precio en camaras Aps C del mercado por debajo de los 1000€. Antes de este modelo estuve mirando estos tres modelos : Por debajo de este modelo tenemos a la A6000 que es más antiguo y lo descarté por que no graba 4K , tiene muchos menos punto de enfoque y no tiene pantalla para selfy que si tiene la A6100. Por encima está el A6400 que tiene el cuerpo sellado y perfiles S-log para video, pero tampoco son motivos suficiente para pagar 200€ más. Por el mismo precio tambien miré la ZV-E10 pero el que no tenga visor le quita puntos para hacer fotografia desde la pantalla abatible, no me convence la veo más para video que para foto. La camara es más pequeña de lo que me esperaba, pero tiene un muy buen agarre, se me hace raro la posicion del visor en un lado en vez de en el centro, para grabar video le penaliza mucho no tener estabilizacion optica, aún con el objetivo Kit que lleva estabilizacion a la que hagas movimientos bruscos genera "Rolling Shutter" y es un fastidio, es la unica pega destacable que le veo a estas camaras, ya que tanto la A6400, A6000 o ZV- E10 tampoco tienen estabilizador optico. La bateria en video dura una hora y foto unos 350 disparos, esta justita para pasar un dia haciendo fotos, pero se puede recagar por el puerto USB con una bateria portatil o comprar baterias compatibles por poco dinero. El objetivo es completo, esta estabilizado y tiene Zoom electronico que va muy bien para hacer video, tambien para fotografia callejera, paisaje, pero para hacer fotos de retrato no esperes con mucho bokeh, ni demasiada nitidez, pero para empezar esta muy bien o para cuando quieras salir y llevarte la camara mas el objetivo en el bolsillo de la chaqueta. La camara en foto se comporta perfecta, el enfoque al rostro y al ojo es bestial, es muy rapida enfocando, la disposicion de los controles esta muy bien elegida excepto el boton de grabar video, la solucion es sencilla tiene varios botones programables a la que puedes asignar el boton de grabacion. los menús de la camara estan un poco desfasados y tiene tal vez demasiadas funciones, pero puedes configurar todo lo que quieras de la camara. Mi anterior camara fué la Sony Alpha 7 II y creia que sacrificaba calidad de fotografia al ser full frame a favor de tener una camara más compacta pero la Sony A6100 me esta sorprendiendo en su calidad tanto como de maquina como de calidad fotografica y video.

I love this camera, and as a hobbiest, I'm still figuring out all the features. Love the ability to pick the shutter speed and the camera picks the apature with regard to when I'm in a hurry to take a photo. Order this in the USA as its $150 less than buying it domestically. You will need to buy a different charger for $4.99, but obviously you save a tone of money. I think they quit making this due to the chip shortage.
