It's an Arduino...'nuff said. If you know, you know.
I like this one in particular for my systems...the Bluetooth connectivity allows my cell phone or other device to communicate with it easily.Low power consumption. Sufficient memory for my needs. And can drive the solid state relays I use.Sometimes I like them without headers and sometimes I just need them to fit into my plugboard for experimentation, which is what I use this one for.

Fantastic Beast!
New to Arduino and totally amazed. Worked right out of the box and very reliable.One surprise was, you can’t use IOT/WiFi and Bluetooth at the same time!So I used 2. And they talk to each other via Serial1 and it all works perfectly. One does the internet and one does the Bluetooth.Very pleased!

Awesome!
This little thing is awesome. I built a gateway of sorts to transmit temperature readings from a few thermocouple probes via mqtt for monitoring meat temps on my smoker in OpenHAB. Surprisingly little code needed for this, I'll be buying more of these.

Wont Upload WiFi Sketches Unless Using the Paid Service of Arduino Cloud.
I got this to try my hand at WiFi and especially to download programs or Sketches as Arduino calls them to the device. Once I powered up, I discovered that one can only use WiFi-F in conjunction with the Arduino Cloud, which is a paid service. There is a free version, but it does not allow enough sketch downloads to be practical when developing.It was recognized and operated with the Arduino IDE or the software development and upload tool.I was able to load sketches, upload WiFi firmware using the free Arudino Cloud, and have the device recognized on my home network.
