Kali Audio MV-BT Professional Bluetooth Input Module

I was dubious about this at first, but really wanted the functionality. I now have it placed in my home recording studio. I connected it to a professional set of Yamaha MSP5 reference monitor speakers via Mogami gold XLR cables. I then sync'd it up to my Apple MacBook Pro's bluetooth. It didn't work when I first pushed the button. So on the advice of the manual, I simply repowered the Kali and it then sync'd immediately. I can record or play music back from anywhere in the room (whether my own recordings, Pandora, YouTube, etc.). The quality is fantastic. As an added bonus, during the COVID19 I'm doing a lot of Zoom video conferencing. I WAS using earbuds. Now I watch my colleagues on my Mac and the audio comes out in the room on the speakers wirelessly via the Kali. Great product. Worth the cost.

I got this for use with my music production setup. I heard great things from a number of online sources, so I thought I'd give it a try. The unit came and it was much lighter than I expected. Not a bad thing, but I was expecting something that was a heavier metal build. I plugged the unit into my setup which uses a power conditioner for noise reduction and attached it to my studio monitors. As soon as I did I got CRAZY amounts of hissing. This was using my iPad in an unplugged state (as in the iPad was not charging). After that, I plugged my iPad directly into my system (no charge cable) and no hissing. I am most definitely returning this. The idea was great. In fact it was going to be a game changer for me, but with this hiss I'll have to stick with hard wiring my peripherals.

Received my new Kali Audio MV-BT Professional Bluetooth Input Module today. It's connected to my JBL Professional 308P MkII Next-Generation 8" 2-Way Powered Studio Monitors via TRS cable. Immediately began listening to some old BB King via my iPhone. There's no hiss at all. Only fat excellent sound. I wonder if folks reporting a hiss are using TS cable instead of TRS. Whatever. I am 100% satisfied!

I like it but i think it should have a on/off button

I get occasional millisecond cut outs here and there but I think I have to blame the nature of Bluetooth for that and not the device itself. Works great with my studio monitors and play them regularly.

I used this product in conjunction with two Yamaha studio monitors. The sound this thing pumps out over vs my mac pc is just out of the world. A lot louder and cleaner. The only downside is that I'm getting some some noise when the unit is powered on. If you turn the volume right down then it disappears but as soon as you turn it up even 1% it comes back. Listening music at higher volume its no problem, its drowned out but for lower volume it gets kind of annoying hearing that hissing sound all the time. Ive tried it both wired and with bluetooth, same result. Other than that great product, nice and hefty

Very useful for Bluetooth monitoring in my studio!

I may have received a defective product so my experience may not be common. My main issue was once I would connect my phone to the device (using the APTX bluetooth codec) my speakers would start to hiss. Even when I raised the volume the music still couldn't drown out the hissing. I would have loved to have kept the device but the hissing defeats the purpose of having balanced outputs.

The bluetooth circuit is not isolated well enough. One can hear the digital signals as the bluetooth circuit opperates. There is less noise after a connection is made, but it is still not isolated enough to make the balanaced audio circuit worth the investment. It's a shame that the manufacturer did not think about this product and it makes more pollution on the planet. When creating pro or semi-pro audio devices, there is no fooling the customer. You may fool audiophiles, but not professionals. I don't even need good hearing to check the noise floor and clicks and chirps from the bluetooth circuit.

il suono non sarebbe malvagio. Peccato quel fastidioso rumore di fondo anche a bassi volumi. E' inoltre difficile far sì che il dispositivo si accoppi. Il manuale è un poco chiaro schemino sul retro della cover dello scatolo....

Es muy intuitivo por eso. Y funciona con buena calidad.
