The book was very nicely put together the kids really enjoyed it. Hearing the different noises and repreating what they heard

Some animals sound distorted!
I loved that this is a board book because my daughter still likes to try and rip pages out of books so I was happy to find a board book that played animal sounds. Although she still was able to rip it. It's a sturdy book and she loves how easy it is to press the buttons. Unfortunately I think some of the animal sounds (the owl and donkey) sound a little distorted, I'm not sure if it's the book that I received or if they all sound like that. But besides those 2 animals is a great book with great content and is one I actually enjoy reading

Really engaging book. My daughter and her daycare friends enjoyed it during show and tell (farm animals theme). Beyond that singular event, she loves picking up this book to listen to the sounds and match them to her animal figurines. Good purchase and it will be a blessing to another child when mine outgrows it.
