I needed to replace an analog stick on a joycon. It was not registering the L3 button clicks.. well i went ahead and got this. The replacement works so far, but we will see if it has any stick drift issues in the future. The installation is fairly straight forward. If you have opened up a joycon or controller before, you will have a much easier time. However even a beginner would be able to do this fix themselves

(edited and changed) Alright, so I bought the white one to replace a drifting analog stick (left) in my switch lite. I spent a good hour taking my switch apart and finally replacing the drifting one, only to put my switch back together, turn it back on, and find the stick has no left/right movement. It goes up and down just fine, but left and right for some reason doesn't seem to be working. Worried I somehow broke my switch, I took it apart again and connected my drifting one and shockingly that one still worked, so I didn't accidentally break my switch or anything. It was the analog stick I bought. I'm pretty sure I just somehow ended up with the rotten luck of getting sent one that doesn't work, and im willing to try again since this product was highly recommend by Spawn Wave on YouTube for fixing drifting joycons. For now, my rating is low since my character used to move to the right on their own, and now they won't move right at all. EDIT: Because my review was voted helpful, I realized I forgot to change my review after getting another one. It works perfectly. It looks nice. I've had it on my switch lite for months and it hasn't given me any problems. If you need a replacement one, this one will work just fine. I'm just pretty sure I got a freak broken one.

Came as expected and on time. Only 3 stars for the install because I haven't been able to install; I forgot the tools required. Simple and way cheaper than buying a new joycons

This is a pretty easy (I'd say 7/10) install, a fraction of the price of replacing your joycon all together (you could literally replace this joystick 6 times before reaching the cost of replacing the joycon), and it adds a cool custom look to your Switch by giving you different color options if you're into that. I've played over 120 hours of Animal Crossing and quite a few Smash Bro's matches on this joystick in the ~3 weeks I've had it, and it isn't showing any signs of drift or unresponsiveness in the stick calibration menu. It feels identical to the stock joystick (if I'm not looking at which controller I'm using, I can't tell which joycon has the replaced joystick). Don't replace your joycon, replace your joystick.

I purchased this to replace the left stick on my pokemon switch lite that had started to drift. It would return to center if held directly left. The install went really smoothly but let me warn you newcomers that this repair is for the experience tech repair person. Small screws and small spaces make this a challenge for anyone not familiar. Watch a youtube guide, follow along and keep screws organized and you should be fine. after installing mine did not need recalibration and so far working perfectly. Will update review if anything changes.

Included video shows movement without contact of joystick, worse than before. Potentially just a defective part, ordering another one as a replacement. Edit: Replacement is just as bad, sliding in the same direction.

after doing the install, no more drift and no more dead responce, perfect replacement and the fit is flawless
