I am happy with it only customer service is a problem not product

We recently remodeled 3 bathrooms and we are so happy with all the Hansgrohe product. This iBox is genius... To fully appreciate it, you'll need to watch a video at the Hansgrohe website where they animate this iBox for various configurations. It is just plain genius. Hansgrohe made it simple that this is the only thing you use for shower / tub connect... you want a shower only, use the iBox... you want a shower / tub combo, use the iBox... you want a hand-held shower and jets on the wall, use the iBox. You get the idea. Installation is easy but requires attention. Because this is German/European, they do things a little differently than us Americans, and thus your American (I'm assuming) contractor / plumber. First, you have to make sure that it is installed in the proper position... Although it can rotated 180 degrees without consequence, it cannot be rotated 90 degrees. There is actually the word "Top" on top, which my contractor missed. He installed the top to the right instead, so he had to re-do it. Second, all the connections are screwed / twisted on instead of solder like other brands. You'll melt the plastic if you use solder nearby! My contractor soldered all the pipe (short segment) and 90 degree bend connectors elsewhere first, and then twisted them on... this iBox looked like an octopus (with 4 legs instead of 8) when it was installed. Then you can solder those connectors to your water supply / shower / tub outlet. Or you can skip all the copper pipe and use PEX tubing instead. I bought 3 of these and am very happy. I would highly recommend watching the video at Hansgrohe website multiple times, they explain the installation and waterproofing well.

We used this product in both bathrooms in our house and had no issues. We have used the Hansgrohe hand shower-tub spout and hand shower-rain shower combo, and it worked out well. It is important that the installer knows how to do this, since it is so straightforward.

We needed to replace a 12-year old Pegasus shower body (from Home Depot) that was leaking and wanted to go with something of higher quality. Looking at the trim options from Hansgrohe, as well as reviews, we decided to go with this German brand. This valve assembly is very solid and works well so far. Our plumber recommended Delta but we couldn't find trim and faucet options that we liked. When he installed this one from Hansgrohe, he said he's pretty sure that actual cartridge *IS* made by Delta so win, win? What sealed the deal for us was Amazon's pricing which is much lower than the local plumbing supply stores. Time will tell as to whether this holds up better than the Pegasus but I am optimistic.

Necessary if you install a thermostatic controller. Here is the retrofitted from Alt Shower who have Delta plate. It is very high quality and make sure you hire someone who knows the trade.

We installed two of these in our new bathroom renovation. The plumber commented on how high quality they are during installation. It is great to have push button mechanical engineering and not anything digital like some of the goofy American made brands are trying to make digital interfaces that don’t turn your water on half the time. We love our new Hansgrohe bathroom!

This item has US "NPT" 3/4 inch treads which are incompatible with UK standard BSP fittings. This item should not be sold in the UK. Adapters cost £50!!!

Great quality product. This universal box is for 3/4 inch plumbing and the materials are strong and sturdy. Recommends professional installation by certified plumber but there is a helpful website video showing installation.. The customer service very helpful. I would recommend this brand.

Great rough in for a shower or bath tup faucets, has it built in shut offs for easy servicing. Very high quality compared to other brands.

Second time using the system and it is easy to install. Yes it’s pricey but worth it for the time you save and the precision it provides
