Easy to use, but a little soft.
This water stone is an excellent tool for sharpening axes, which are typically very difficult to sharpen on traditional whetstones. I found that the round stone was very easy and comfortable to hold in the hand while sharpening. It also come in a quality bamboo case. My one complaint with the stone is that it seems very soft. After sharpening three axes, I had worn away a significant portion of the low-grit side. If you are sharpening frequently or a lot of axes, this stone will not last very long. Overall, a great purchase! I hope they also produce a higher grit version of the puck for polishing.

Its versatile,
I bought the Sharp Pebble Puck/Disk twice, At first I was researching good sharpening stones for my knives I'm a chef, So I came across this product while doing so, I've bought a number of stones Multi-grade stone for different levels of cutting edged tools. Depending on how bad the item is to began with. So I received it tried it out on my 8-10 inch chef knife. Followed the simple instructions. Instant results. Now like I said if your tool is dull, Like anything else that's been neglected you'll work a little harder. But with this stone it makes it a lot easier. So I bought 2, One for my knife set and one for my outside tools. Ax, shears, Machete swords. Great product.

Great whetstone/puck for affordable price
Great product. Used it immediately out of the box. Took only a few short minutes to soak the stone and get it ready. Once I was prepared, I was able to bring my very dull knife edge to a beautiful and clean, polished edge that slices through paper like butter now. I also bought this to try on a small hatchet I had purchased not but two or three summers ago and it was so dull it couldn't even cut kindling for a camp fire but now its so sharp I even redid the handle so it wont slip out of my hand when using it and hurt someone by accident. All in all a top notch item for a whetstone, I was happy to see all my blades finally in working condition and couldnt be happier with the purchase, would absolutely recommend this even for a beginner as long as you take your time, watch videos and tutorials on proper technique, go slow and work up to a speed that is comfortable for you. Again, great product 10/10. As a side comment: I noticed a review from someone who claims they have been doing this kind of thing for several years and yet was disappointed to find their stone had molded after putting it away still wet inside the little bamboo carrying case it comes with (so handy by the way), well word of advice to that guy and anyone reading this: LET YOUR STONE DRY BEFORE STORING IT. It cant be that hard to know that if you put something wet into a sealed container, its probably going to mildew (not mold, inorganic things like rocks cant grow mold) so practice a little common sense and let it sit out a few nights on a towel and that should remove the excess water inside the stone, remembering to flip it to get both sides dry...I mean if you cant do that small task then dont buy this and then blame the company for your own short sightedness.

Transformed Chipped Axe To A Sharp Cutting Tool!
Easy to use 2 sided wet sharpening stone. With #150 and #320 grit and unique puck shape I can bring the beveled edge to a keen point on any axe I have. The stone comes commercially packaged. The storage box is made of a beautiful wooden box, making it a pleasure to display with my axes. While I love the look, functionality it is great. Just soak the stone in water for 2-3 minutes, start with #150 grit side use circular motion keeping bevel angle. Work up a slurry of metal, count rotations and repeated same number of strokes on opposite side. Once sharp use the same process with #320 grit side. I was able to polish my edge to a keen edge easily.

Larger than many of the less expensive puck sharpeners - with a really nice case.
It's more expensive than the smaller puck sharpeners but it's larger and it sits nicely in my hand. I feel like it's safer when sharpening my hatchet or ax because not so much of my fingers and hand wrap around the edges of the puck - where you could potentially contact an edge if you're not careful. Works well and puts a really nice edge on my axes. The case (wood with magnets) is really nice. My less expensive smaller puck didn't come with any case. I'm thinking some day this will get handed down to one of my Sons or Son-in-laws.

Bamboo container grew mold
This puck worked perfectly and I was able to efficiently sharpen my hactchet, axe, and a few other tools with a little effort. However after placing the puck back into its bamboo container, I broke it out to use it today and found that the inside of the container was covered in various types of mold. The puck had a little growing in it too but it came right off, I ended up dusposing of the container. so just keep in mind that you should ensure the puck is dry befofe storing it, let it sit in the sun or something before placing it in the container so you dont encounter the same issue I did.

Was a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but I didnt check the measurements before I ordered it. Otherwise, all good, and super fast delivery!

Really well made, including wooden box holder. Simply put you don’t find quality like this anymore. I’m old school outdoors man. A product like this used properly will give you a razor sharp cutting edge axe, knife or other

I had never used a sharpening stone before. It took a little while to get used to this stone. It is hard to figure out what the right angle is. The best way to learn is to watch the YouTube video. So far I have used it to sharpen an axe and a lawnmower blade. It did the job great. Definitely use with water and sprinkle water as you work. I recommend this product
