Disclaimer: I don't personally have one of these, but a family member's school uses them. They ask me to fix them when the break. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. I did not buy them, but I think it is important to let people know that these have a huge flaw. Anyways, on to the review. First, on to the good. The image quality is pretty good. The design is clean and nice. The base is sturdy. I used the software a bit, and it is okay. It is just not my cup of tea. Now, these break a lot. Like I mentioned above, my family member's school uses them. I have needed to fix two of them. I fixed one twice. The main problem that I see is that the closing is spring loaded. If you initiate the closing and let it close on its own, it will close very hard which damages the camera. I think they put the spring loaded closing on to keep it closed while traveling, but this is a huge design flaw. Ironically, you can fix it by closing it hard again often, but after some times, it just gets totally damaged and does not work anymore. So that being said, I would really stay away from this. It looks nice, but it will end up broken after some time unless you are REALLY careful about closing it.

It works. The picture quality is OK, a little pixilated but acceptable, the darkroom performance is good. The microphone is clear, although I prefer my headphone microphone, it captures cleaner (perhaps since my mouth is closer). It looks stylish.
