As Mitchie struggles to maintain her façade around camp, Shane begins to reform his bad-boy ways and find his own personal voice and he and Mitchie become friends--unfortunately, their new relationship is based partially on Mitchie's lies. In the end, Mitchie's deception is exposed as is Tess' true villainy and the perfect summer camp experience threatens to turn into the worst summer ever for everyone involved. Camp Rock is infused with lots of energy, fun choreography, and a ton of good, if not particularly memorable, music. I love Disney movies.
I can't help it. I'm almost 20 years old and am addicted to Disney movies. Maybe I need an intervention? Anyways, i saw it on TV and put songs from it on my Zune, and I still can't get enough of it. It's catchy and fun, and it tells the truth about trying to fit in as a teenager(and of course how lying about who you are will bite you in the butt). Demi Lovato is a really great actress, and she sure has a set of pipes on her (man she can sing!!). It's also good acting from the Jonas Brothers (haha i would never picture Joe being a jerk) Its a fun movie for all ages and the words to the songs (well Demi's songs, Meaghan's are all a bout how amazing she is) have a good message behind them!

Great Disney Blu-Ray Movie
One Friday night after a hard day at work I decided to watch the Disney Channel original movie as I sometimes do on friday nights on this particular night they were showing a movie called Camp Rock I read the description on the channel guide and thought this might be a good movie and as most times Disney Channel Original Movies delivered once again a great film, It is the story of a girl named Mitchie (Demi Lovato)who is fortunate enough to be sent to camp Rock where she can express her music talents without giving too much away she gets to live her dream. In simple terms if you like the High School Musical Films I'm sure you'll lover this one. I give it a 5 Star performance.

Clean, Family Fun
The Jonas Brothers and other Disney stars are everywhere you look these days. And if you missed the million-and-one showings of the movie on the Disney Channel, now's your chance to watch the movie. The film itself is typical for a DCOM movie. But, it has a sort of charm that manages to make you smile after a long day. The cast works well together, though there were some plot points that seemed overlooked, and others that they spent too much time going through. Apart from Joe, the rest of the Brothers don't have much of a part, and seem thrown in only as an afterthought. The music is similar to what you'd expect in "High School Musical". It's catchy and upbeat, and chances are you'll have at least one of the songs stuck in your head for a few days after the viewing. All in all, it's a delightful film. There isn't anything crude in it, and the lyrics are clean. I'd highly recommend it to anybody who just wants a sweet family-friendly popcorn flick to pass an evening. :)

This version is to die for, if you are a true fan...
Got this for my daughter as an end of school year gift with a bunch of her favorite movies...she squealed so loud, the whole neighborhood heard her!! Now she plans to spend her summer re-watching them all after work....what a life:-) They arrived right on time for the end of the school year, and mostly in one box, so it really was like Christmas in May! Thank you-)

Musikbegeisterte Teenager in einem Musik Camp "Camp Rock". Demi Lovato spielt Mitchie, deren Mutter eine Cateringfirma hat und welche Mitchie ermöglichen will in dieses Camp zu gehen nimmt in diesem Camp den Job für das Catering an. Im Camp angelangt will Mitchie zu den coolen und reichen dazugehören und erzählt, dass ihre Mutter ein hohes Tier in der Musikbranche ist. Irgendwann singt sie eines ihrer Lieder und der Popstar Shane hört, sieht sie aber nicht. Er versucht sie anschließend vergeblich zu finden. Nachdem das IT-Girl Tess herausgefunden hat, dass Mitchies Mutter die Köchin ist, stellt sie Mitchie vor allen Leuten bloß. Alle sind übertrieben enttäuscht und wollen nichts mehr mit ihr zu tun haben. Als sie erkennt wie dumm es war seine Herkunft zu verleugnen stellt sie sich allen und wird wieder aufgenommen. NACH dem Ende des Final Jam singt Mitchie ihr selbstgeschriebenes Lied und Shane, welcher in der Jury sitzt, hört dieses Lied und die beiden singen ein klasse Duett. Fazit: Highschool Musical fand ich nicht so berauschend, aber Camp Rock ist echt ein klasse Film. Ab und zu wird alles so übertrieben dargestellt (z.B. das Tussi verhalten von Tess :D). Die Gesangs und Tanzeinlagen sind super gemacht. Jeder der Musik mag -> sehr zu empfehlen!
