Sound quality: Good enough for the purpose. You are probably considering buying these to use at a motorsports event as a race fan. They work well for voice communications. If you want a headset to use for a family at-track intercom, or you're on a race crew, this isn't for you because there's no way to hook a microphone to them without drilling holes. If that's what you need, Amazon sells headsets with microphones attached. Comfort: no worse than any other full-isolation headphone. You can read that as "these are going to pinch your head, but that's the nature of the beast." Sound isolation: very good. I also use mine as earmuffs when I use loud machinery.

Do not buy!!!!
Absolutely junk! Volume is way to low, the rheostat volume knob is junk, static sound and doesn't play in both ears sometimes. Better off buying the RE headset for a little more money. I bought these a month ago for a NASCAR race this weekend and now I can't return because 2 days over return policy. Waste of money

Did not work at all!!!
I bought these for my wife. We went to a once in a lifetime experience that Daytona 500. Got to my seat and got ready to plug everything into my race scanner. Put my headset on low and to behold nothing not even a sound came out of these headsets I was really upset. I couldn’t believe it if I could I would’ve give it zero stars beware!!

WASTE OF MONEY
I bought these for the Nascar Dover race. These headphone were horrible. When the cars were running under green flag you could not hear anything on the headphones over the engine noise. You can only hear the audio under caution flag. I used to own Racing Electronics and they worked beautifully. Don't waste your money on this product. Spend the extra money and get R/E headphones.

plastic connections are easy to break
The headband connects to the earphones with plastic connections. so be careful handling. One came in broken at the joint. Return was easy. I bought for price as we will only use it once or twice a year for Nascar races. No complaints on the sound quality.
