Good quality, sturdy, easy build...
First, I feel like I should review this product because I was a little apprehensive when ordering. There were many good reviews, but also quite a few that didn't like the quality or had shipping issues. So, I was relieved when mine arrived with only minimal damage to the packaging. Since the desk was protected by additional layers inside the box, there was no damage to any parts. Assembly was easy. It took about 1.5 hours and I did it myself other than my husband helping me assemble to the desktop onto the base and adjust the height. The parts, tools (other than a Phillips screwdriver) were included, and the instructions are easy to follow. The instruction book was put together a little strange where I had to flip back and forth for the next page to be facing the right direction. Maybe this was just my booklet, but it wasn't a big deal. Once everything was put together, I was so happy that there was no damage to any of the desk components. There were a few places where I could see where the metal was welded together, but very minor and it doesn't affect the functionability, so it's not an issue. This will be a multi-purpose desk for me, however I know I will use it a lot for diamond painting. Being able to angle the desktop will be great for this purpose. I added an attached led magnifying light (not included) to lessen the need for a light board or glasses. The drawers are pretty sturdy for fabric and the inserts are sturdy enough for their purpose. I was able to adjust the desk for my legs to go under without hitting and the top height is still ergonomically while sitting on the stool. I like that this desk can even be adjusted for standing. The stool is sturdy and comfortable, although I haven't sat on it for long periods yet. The only thing I wish were different is that the sliding surface would slide all the way under the top to save space when not in use. Not a deal breaker though. All in all, this desk seems like a good value.

Nice, affordable drafting table suitable for artists
This drafting table is well designed and easy to assemble. It has adjustable height and table angle. I don't know why the designers chose to put the shelf on the left, given that most people are right-handed. As a right-handed person, it is most convenient for me to have a shelf on the right, or actually, both sides. I'd like to suggest to the designers that they put shelf brackets on both sides, so the customer can choose. The included stool is perfect. I thought the drawers and organizer would be in the way, so I did not install them. I bolted aluminum ange to the right side of the frame, so I can have a shelf on both sides of the table. Instead of installing the feet, I placed the table on a rolling platform/dolly, which makes it easy to move the table for cleaning, etc.

Good for a workstation or Art studio!
I just finished assembling thiss Drafting table and am pleased with the sturdiness and quaility of this piece of furnature for the price. The assembly had pretty clear and straight forward instructions, but please read the instruction manual and identify the hardware components correctly as it is easy to mistake the different size bolts during different stages of assmebl, the hardware (bolts, screws, wrench, Allen wrench) are all well packed in a labled blister pack so their are identifiec and separated. The size and lenght of these parts are clarily labled with a simple 2 digit part number and the number and metric size of each part is label on teh blister pack. The instructions recommends that you have 2 people to easily assmeble it. I was by myself and did not have help, but it can be done but it would be easier to have another person to help hold and steady the wooden panels and metal frame tubing when screwing in the bolts. It was much harder to get the level of the desktop on the extendable frames right since an extra set of hands help align the tapped holes to screw in the bolts, but once I was able to get each side level it work just fine.

High quality!
I am really impressed with this desk. It was fairly easy to build, but it does take two people to adjust the height. The adjustable table top angle is great and I do love that the side table is adjustable so you can make it longer or shorter on the side. The tabletop also looks stunning.

IMPRESSIVE!
This artist's table fits the bill for me. I find it to be sturdy and the features well thought out. I would not describe this as a drafting table necessarily, as drafting tables offer more surface area typically, but I find the area on this table to be sufficient for illustration and other drawing projects. The work surface tilts, and the entire top portion of the table is height adjustable with storage for art supplies. In addition, the feet can be adjusted to keep the table surface level. The frame is surprisingly solid when considering the price point. If I had one complaint it would be the 2 drawers located just under the work surface. The table has slides for the drawers to seat in, that allow you to pull the drawers in and out. Unfortunately, this is very tight, and the drawers' do not move in and out easily. Adding to this issue is the drawers themselves, as they are made of a type of canvas-like cloth. Despite its shortcomings, this artists table is a great buy. You get quite a lot of features for the price. I find it to be sturdy, with a sufficient enough work area to complete art projects. In addition, the table includes a small, cushioned stool as well. It took me a little over an hour to assemble. I found the instructions to be clear and understandable, and despite the recommendation that this is a 2-man project, I completed the assembly alone. I recommend it.

LOOKS good... But clever options aren't thought-out
Well, I bought it. And put it together. (Personally, I had a BEAR of a time at the end because one of the height-adjustable sections was stuck... hard core. Had to beat with mallet to free up.) So I guess I am stuck with it. Sitting at it now and back already hurting. Why? Glad you asked! 1. The storage drawers are in a bad position. With my desktop 30" above floor I can't get my torso within a foot of the desk because the drawers are so low my legs won't go under. I know someone out there is thinking I should raise the desk. I might have to. But it defeats the purpose: You should be basing the surface on your ergonomics, not on how low the drawers hang. I can just take the drawers out, but... then why even have them? Oh... and there is still the metal bracket for the drawers I'll likely bruise myself on eventually. 2. The storage shelf in back is even MORE useless. How can you get to it? Ummm... on hands and knees? 3. The sliding side shelf is not what you expect. It stays sticking out 8 inches when at its least obstrusive. OK, I suppose. But plan for that where you locate your desk. 4. Height adjustment is not so easy. In my case, I'll have to actually move the desk out, do a side at a time, hoping I don't wedge it stuck as I try to adjust. Once it's at a good height, you probably won't move it much. Still. All right. Now... the stool seems stable and comfy enough (like, if you ride with a FIRM bike seat, then this is "comfy") that it might be better than expected. Drawing surface is sufficient for my needs. Bottom line? If you are looking at a different desk with no drawers, no shelf, no side tray, and maybe even no height adjustment... Don't think those features on this model should weigh your decision in this direction.
