Great EDC good feeling and quality.
Good night built well seems of good quality easy to use sharp. The size is right for EDC recommended. I would buy it again. The price is right, especially if you were to lose it if you have more expensive knives and don’t wanna risk beating them up this is a great option.

Amazing knife for the price
I bought this knife on sale. I have to say I am very impressed with what I have found so far. I like Kershaw brand knives. I own their Kurkri and other full tang straight blade camp knives. This is the first Kershaw pocket knife I have owned. First the pros: 1) Out of the box I loved the feel of this knife. It is slim with enough heft to feel like a solid work tool. 2) I love the straight look and lines of this knife. Most knives have multiple incorporated curves in the handle and blade. This knife has mostly very straight and sleek lines. The curve at the choil and flipper combine to give it a great sturdy feel. 3) To continue with the look the blade feels like it wants to jump out. Like a sail boat cutting through waves. 4) It is a very sturdy blade. 5) There is no play in the pivot. 6) The screws are slightly recessed but what you can feel of them is more like an accent. It adds to the tactile feel of holding it instead of taking away from the handle. 7) The assisted spring action is very satisfying. It pops solidly into place. The action is quick and decisive but not so much that it feels as if the knife can be pulled out of position by the inertia. 8) The blade itself is a very rugged looking stone wash and is razor sharp out of the box. I know that is a cliche description for most blades but I kid you not. Be careful with this blade. IT will shave the hairs of your arm with little to no effort. 9) The shape of the blade if very complementary to the handle. They flow very well together. 10) The pocket Clip is very solid and allows for a secure hold. 11) There is also a very nice lanyard hole at the back of the blade. The design adds something to the lines to finish the straight more mechanical feel to the blade. It is a black metal incorporated into the crosshatched back plate. 12) The second stage pause on closing is positive and gives strong, tactile warning that the blade is coming home to its resting place. 13) Very important for any blade I buy is protection for my hand. The flipper becomes enough of a guard that I think it would be very hard to have my hand slip forward over the blade should I use it point first. Cons: 1) The smooth metal handle is awesome but it takes some practice to get a feel for how the blade will sit and open in your hand. Initially I thought about either tooling a small amount of crosshatching or adding a small stylized piece of skateboard tape like I would to a pistol handle. I did decide to keep it a clean, smooth look just because I really enjoy the look and the feel became more pleasant with practice. 2) The lock was a little stiff at first but with more use it quickly became more fluid while retaining a very stable lock for the blade. 3) Made in China (I noticed this after close inspection of the blade) Summary: Overall the cons are really not cons. I happened on this knife at a great sale price but to be honest I would feel just as impressed had I paid full price for it. The looks drew my eye and the features convinced me to buy it. I do not regret it in the least. This will quickly become an EDC favorite for work (27plus years in LE). This knife is also super fun to fidget with. It just feels good to the hands. It may not be at the same quality as a Benchmade but it is a crazy good value for the quality in the blade that I have found so far. Plus at this price I have no problems with putting it through its paces. Time will tell as to the durability of the blade. I Highly recommending this knife if you are looking for a great deal.

Right sized for effectiveness.
My pocket knife is a tool, and this one does what it is supposed to with a solid design and good blade. Maintenance is straight forward, and sharpening this is easy. I like how durable this knife is, how it fits my hand, and how the pocket clip has not lost its grip or shape, after almost two years of owning this knife. It is a Kershaw - some still get it right.

Checks all of the boxes for me, the perfect EDC knife
I've spent hundreds of dollars over the past few years looking for the perfect EDC knife for me. I think I've finally found it. I've owned multiple Kershaws, a handful of Civivis, a couple benchmades etc. After all of that, this relatively cheap Kershaw finally checks all of the boxes. The knife is small, but not mini. It sits very nice in my pocket, it's no more intrusive than even tiny knives like the chive or ember. The pocket clip holds it very securely. It opens with a very satisfying and quick action, and the flipper and frame lock combo allows for very easy one handed operation. It is very easy to open, but not so easy that it might spring open unintentionally like my chive always did. The blade shape is great, it will be easy to sharpen, and is pointy enough to dig at things without being a needle. Zero play in the blade, it feels super solid. The flipper becomes a guard when opened to help ensure your hand can't slip onto the blade. All in all, it's the best form-factor of any EDC type knife I've owned. It's blade may not be super-steel, but between the ease of sharpening and the low price point I'm not super concerned about it. I have a $150 benchmade that holds an edge forever, but certain things about the form factor just never clicked with me. For the price of this kershaw, I can buy 6 of them before I've spent the same on that one benchmade. If I accidentally leave it behind on a jobsite I won't have a heart-attack, I'll just order another one!

It’s a Kershaw that’s worthy of the name.
To be honest I bought this knife as an add on to get the item I already had in my cart faster shipping. I really like pocket knives and this brand is one of my favorites. When I received the knife the first thing I checked was country of origin and when I saw China I was pissed.. One of the reasons that Kershaw has always been one of my favorites is that just like all the other knives in my collection it’s American made. With that said I still had a couple of packages to open so might as well use the Chinese knife to open them. That’s when I discovered that it was the sharpest knife out of the box that I have ever purchased so I have a new daily carry knife that is solidly built, razor sharp, and almost as cheap as a razor knife.
