300mm MGN15 Linear Rail Guide with MGN15C Carriage Block for DLP UV 3D Printer and CNC Machine

My laser came with a linear rail that had a lot of resistance, even at 90 degrees the carriage would not move or come close to moving, even with a push- that's after removing all the bearings and re-greasing/oiling everything. The old rail had so much resistance that I was afraid I was going to fry the motors or wear out the belt that it runs off of, it was not a good rail. I got the 1 meter version. After re-greasing/oiling at slightly less than 45 degrees it slides freely.One complaint I do have is the packaging- the rail had punctured the box and was sticking out about 2 inches when I got it. This did not seem to effect quality. I am very satisfied with the product. There are better rails out there, but for a laser engraver this is a really great upgrade- it has improved accuracy that I suspect was caused by the friction of the old rail- I can now laser perfect circles and I have no more worry about my motors overworking themselves.I would give it 4 1/2 Stars for the packaging, but the product itself, considering the price is 5/5 so I just went with 5/5. They should include a foam pad at each end to keep the rail from puncturing the ends of the package. Either way- great product for the price!

This is the fourth linear rail I have purchased off of Amazon. All of them were on the lower end of the pricing scale and the other three definitely showed that. This rail though, this rail is surprisingly good. Packaging was decent, rail is super straight, block slides easily and does not snag. I will still clean out the block and regrease it to ensure it is properly lubricated but I am very happy with my purchase. My Hypercube Evo is about to be happy as well!

I purchased two of these rail guides to have a total length of 900mm. The rail tolerances and bearings are not consistent. I would not use these bearings in a professional system.

Updated my 3D printer to use these linear rails. Came in clean, and smooth.Initially, 2 of them weren't flush or completely linear against the extrusion but settled flat as soon as mounted.I did buy some "Super Lube" to apply after installed. Can recommend these.

Ordered three of the 600mm MGN15 Linear Rail Guides. They all work fine. Good value for the money.

Cleaned the cosmolene using WD40, then oiled with a light machine oil. Glides smoothly and no discernible lash. Used these to replace the CR10 V-rollers on the Y-Axis. Very satisfied with the results.

The rail I received has a slight but noticeable bow to it, as well as some rust in the holes which I was very unhappy to find. You can also see some tool marks where the machining wasn't perfect, but at least the race looks fairly uniform. Squaring up one edge leaves a 1mm gap at the other edge so don't plan on using these as free-standing rails. Once bolted to an aluminum extrusion it should take the bow out. The bearing blocks also did not roll smoothly until thoroughly cleaning and re-oiling, at which point there is still some very minor hang-ups in the race. Should be tolerable for the average 3D printer but I wouldn't use these for a precision machine. All in all, you get what you pay for. Based on the reviews I was hoping for better quality, but yeah... meh.

these rails are fine and within spec, I accidently submitted a bad review on these instead of the ones i had the issues with
