Love the idea but don’t really use it

these things are the best!!!! keeps my pax cleaner, makes it easy when I'm on the go. I will be getting more. Update (2023): I’ve purchased these twice more. They fit fine in my pax3. I make sure the little lids are on tight otherwise they don’t really clear the top of the bowl. Just give them a little squeeze after you put the lid on to make sure they’re on well. I’ve recommended them to four other pax owners and they love them as well. Definitely keeps my pax cleaner. I usually don’t stuff them so i have no problems with the product in the middle not being consumed. I do adjust my heat depending on how much i stuff them. The heat settings i had to play with to find the right heat to get through the entire kup for both stuffed and not so stuffed kups. Ease of use is excellent once filled and in the case. I’m able to easily swap out kups (after allowing them to cool to touch) when I’m out and about. I like that i can have them ready to go and i don’t have to worry about my pax clogging up. Not having to clean my pax as much is really great. These little guys aren’t difficult to clean either. I let them soak in a little bit of isopropyl for awhile then scrub them up with a qtip. Keeping my pax clean is much easier. I’m ordering two more sets of 6.

Bought these for my PAX 3, these are very convenient not just when you are on the go, but just in general. I like the fact that you can have a few packed and just pop them in as needed. Keeps the PAX cleaner, makes cleaning the pax easier and quick. The Kups also clean up easily with a little alcohol and a cotton swab. Price is a little on the high side, otherwise I would buy another set. For now 6 Kups get me by for 1.5-2 days before I have to repack them.

Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. These are far easier than loading and unloading in the field, and the case makes them slightly harder to lose and easier to carry, so they’re great for hiking, camping, etc. Overall best practices for me include: - Ditch the stock “screen” - Use bone dry, powdery products - Pack fairly tightly - Preheat to 420 degrees (red), count to ten on green, take a few pulls and when you start pulling vapor, turn the temperature down to wherever you want to be - It takes a second for these to heat through compared to the original screen. The P*x is a _conduction_ vaporizer, unlike most desktop models, so it’s heating the sample up to make vapor rather than generating hot air and blowing it through a sample. - When you run out of vapor, pop the Budcup out (careful, it’s hot!), let it cool for a minute, take the top off, and put it back upside down to get the last of your vapor out. - They work well with oils dabbed on to some dry product or even a small wad of cotton. Room for improvement: Ideally, machine the top of the open side so the top fits flush with the sides, so you can take it out and flip it over without removing the top. The oven just doesn’t heat the whole thing evenly, but turning the compressed product around gets your money’s worth. Also, thicker/different metal. I’ve dented a few loading and unloading and I’d expect a touch more durability at this price point. Coach would be thicker metal, first class would be something that distributes heat better around the whole cup. Honestly, I’d pay more if you could guarantee I could get an evenly baked cup without turning it around. Like I said, overall I’m happy, but there’s room to improve.

These things are great. We have a packs two and a packs three. And these weird on both. They are a little difficult to disassemble sometimes. I don’t have sturdy thumbnails, so I sometimes have to pry the lids off. But for a machine metal temperature resistant item, these do precisely what you want them to. And I can pack them well in advance so I don’t have to worry about having to make a mess in the middle of the night so far we have bought 18 bud cups and three cases as well as a packing system. Best accessory for the pax, and it helps it stay cleaner for much longer.

These are a perfect fit for a properly manufactured Pax. I got a basic caliper from work so I measured it out. The chamber on the Pax 3 is 18.5 MM X 8.5 MM. All six of my budkups measure out to exactly 18 MM by 8 MM. Perfectly manufactured and made just a tad smaller than the chamber to fit inside perfectly. Fitment is no issue. If it is, contact the seller for a new batch and you should be fine. Onto the rest, the quality of these cups is wonderful. They are strong for how compact they are and the herb cooks evenly in the Kups, unlike that janky hard to remove and install unreliable default Pax screen. These have never been stuck in my unit. At most, three good taps on my hand will have it pop out. At MOST. Anyone who complains that these get stuck due to residue buildup? You need to keep your unit and Kups clean. just like with the standard pax "screen", Buildup occurs no matter what. Hygiene is key. These are a great product and were exactly what I needed to make the pax more convenient than ever. Do not be afraid jump right in and get you a set.

Reduces mess and helps keep your Pax 3 clean. Also great for patients that prefer micro dosing. If these wear out I will purchase another set without hesitation. Also recieved a bonus vented oven cap specially designed for use with the BudKups that really increases airflow and vapor production. An unexpected surprise that is very much appreciated. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to improve the performance of their Pax 3.

So, these are great for convenience. They improve the airflow through the Pax. However, what kills it for me is that b/c of increased air flow, you have to wait 5 to 10 secs longer (no big deal) AND you get weaker hits b/c the airflow cools off the Pax sooner. For this reason, I prefer to use the half-pack oven lid: Stronger hits and the herb still goes a long way.
