Nice form factor. Looks to be accurate.
As reported by others, the black mark on one of the terminals is the positive. I tested it at first with a 9V battery - backwards, with no damage. I bought this for my 36V golf cart. I tested it with a group of 9V batteries in increasing series combinations. I compared the voltage readings with a Fluke 81438 multi meter - not lab calibrated, so it could be off as well. The attached table shows that the reading are all pretty close - the Fluke has an extra digit. I also checked the current draw in mA with a DC current loop at each voltage level. From 9-38V, the current draw was always around 8mA.
