These are nice sized and uniform. My dog loves them.

I was looking for a healthy alternative to the mainstream cat treat brands and stumbled on these. I wasn't sure if my cat would like them or not, but she was interested in them almost instantly. To help her out, I sliced one up into manageable bite size chunks and the whole heart was gone in like twenty seconds. Though these do cost more than say, a container of Temptations treats, it's far more healthy for her than those. Organ meat is one of the best things you could give a cat, and it shows.

I have a very picky Shih Tzu that is on seizure medication so he really needs something in his stomach twice a day. I had been putting freeze dried salmon on top of his food, to entice him, and recently ran out so I thought I would try this. The pieces are large but are real easy to cut up and this morning I put them on his food and he ate every bit of it! That’s a win for us!

My dogs seem to really like these and I liked they're a natural source of taurine but my youngest dog it gave diarrhea for 5 days after eating only 1.

I love how there is no other ingredients added. The only thing that probably applied to my cat is that its a bit bigger to give as one piece to a cat who has no teeth so I break into small pieces to give my cat. But its the actual size of normal chicken whole heart so I have no issue. Just wanted to point out that you may want to break the piece for small cats and dogs otherwise they can gag on this. My cat did it once and threw up the half piece I gave him. He still chew on it and eventually ate the whole thing but I'd be careful when giving this to ensure they don't just swallow it!

First of all, I'm a vegetarian of almost 20 years, so suffice it to say I was really disgusted buying these "treats," but I am a devoted animal mom, and these were the best solution for one of my pets who needed additional protein/vitamins. He LOVES these. Whenever I open the bag, all the cats congregate at my feet hoping I'll give them one, too. Even my littlest (~4 lbs) guy can eat these, so I think they're good for any size pet and provide extra nutrition that your pets can't get from anything except organ meat. I definitely prefer these, nasty as they are, to raw/fresh organs!

They came well packaged; although; they were staled. smelled like rancid oil. My little yorkie loves heart snaks but yhis time he didnt even want to try one. i smelled it and they smelled stale so I didn't want my dog sick.
