Perfect fit and holds a charge consistently well.
So far so good. This battery was a perfect fit for the Latitude E7470 and was easy to install. So far the battery seems to hold a charge consistently well and is lasting about 3.5 hours on a full charge after an initial battery calibration.

Worth the money
This is a great battery. My son has installed it in my older laptop and this improvement performance tremendously. It does keep the charge long.

Dell Latitude E7470 Intel, Battery Fits Perfect, Recommended
Have tested it long enough to write a review, 100% recommended, easy to install by urself definitely worth your money. Fits perfect on Dell Latitude E7470, i paid around $40 bucks, Don't spend additional money on OEM. This is just perfect and works well. Overall I recommend this product.

I hope this lasts longer than the last one.
What I don’t like is this battery system. I feel like it’s designed to fail early. The reason I say this is I bought this laptop refurbished from a certified refurbisher on Amazon. When I got it in, I immediately examined the BIOS and it appears all they did was wipe the drive, reinstalled the OS, doubled the RAM and replaced the battery, so you would think the battery would last at least two years; it didn’t.So, I’m disappointed with the system, not necessarily this battery, because I feel like it should last longer than it does. Also, when the battery started failing, it was affecting power even when it was plugged into AC. I’ve had laptops with dead batteries that were bulletproof as long as they were plugged in. Apparently that’s not the case with this system. Sort of a disappointment considering the use case I had in mind and the additional upgrades I made myself to max out the ram and increase the M.2 storage on the front end when setting up this new system to ensure the platform would last as long as possible for me. I was hoping for at least a few years so I wouldn’t have to suffer another migration. I’m not sure this hardware is business class. When I get burned by a manufacturer like this (Dell), it causes me to start shopping around for other brands next time around. Doesn’t matter if the commodity is a hard drive, RAM, Power supply, motherboard, GPU, a laser printer, a scanner, mouse, keyboard or a laptop. For years I only bought HP laptops, lately it’s been Dell, next time I might give some other manufacturer a shot. Probably won’t be a Dell next time.

Fit just as expected
There aren't any directions/instructions with this battery, which surprised me. Even toasters, flashlights and bath towels come with instructions nowadays. If you are not tech-savvy this can be frustrating despite the somewhat simple process. There is an internal cord in the laptop that plugs into this battery. But both ends of the cord look as though they could be easily removed, and I didn't know if I should try unplugging the cord from the computer? or from the battery itself? Since the new battery did not come with a new cord, I assumed I had to remove the cord from the battery; it required a bit of force. But the connection fit the new battery, and the computer booted up after the initial recommended 24hour charge time.

Excellent Battery
This battery fits several Dell models that have internal batteries. Mine is a Latitude E7470. The battery was shipped promptly and was well packaged. It's a bit of bother to replace since you have to open the case. But that's not the battery's fault. It fits perfectly and works well and provides up to 5 hrs of use in my system.

Ridiculously poor battery life
Purchased in late Aug 2024 to replace a laptop battery that was no longer holding a charge. It is now Feb 2025... and this battery will no longer hold a charge. *sigh*Ease of replacement: 4 stars. It's a battery. It fits. No big deal.Poor Value and Functionality. Six months? Really?

It works!
While I had a professional install it, they mentioned it was a standard replacement with no issues.
