5 lb. Aluminum CO2 Cylinder with CGA 320 Valve

Beautiful shiny finish, easily operated valve, a quality cylinder that seems well made. I got to admire it until I took it to get it filled at my local welding supply store, where they let me know that they do cylinder exchanges and I won't get mine back. Fortunately, they had a cylinder to swap that look ALMOST as good as the new shiny one I gave them. Don't get attached to your cylinder because you probably won't ever see it again once you exchange it.

When you go to Air Gas to fill this you don't get to keep your bottle They give you credit for the one you bought, but they don't fill them there, so you get a prefilled one every time you need a refill. The swap out a pre filled tank. So I would recommend not buying a bottle. I got credit for my new bottle but will never see it again! Sad to say. Had I known this I would not have wasted time on the whole thing.

Perfect cylinder to buy just to swap out for a full one at your local welding supply for planted aquarium!

Got this for my aqua scape came in perfect condition and Airgas in Wisconsin had no issues exchanging tanks. Bummed I got a not so good looking tank in exchange but moral of the story buying from here and taking this tank in saved me $40

Very well packaged, this tank arrived quickly from Beverage Elements with excellent instructions, recommendations and safety tips. The tank was new and certified in November of '21. (This review written Oct '22) Considering that a C02 tank must be recertified every five years that was very, very reasonable. It was shipped, of course, empty due to transportation regulations so I took it to my local fire equipment store to have it filled. (Sacramento shoppers, I recommend River City Fire Equipment in W. Sac.) $25 and tax got me a full tank from nice folks and, arriving home I easily connected the CGA320 valve to my SodaStream adapter hose. (See my review of the adapter...Good part!) Bubbly water and a happy reviewer was the result . TLDR: Good tank. Has CGA320 (Standard CO2) valve. Find a good price and buy it.

Solid cylinder but a lot of companies have gone to an exchange system. Most will not fill on demand, but within a few days time.

I bought this to save money on sodatream. I bought one of the adapters and connected to this tank. It's perfect! I used to pay 15.00 for the exchange and that lasted muy family about two weeks, sometimes less. This lasted us two and a half months on one fill! Costs about 16.00 to fill where I get it done(my local brewery store) For the cost of one of the sodastream, i can go about five times longer.

It only costs $9 to fill it compared to the $30 for the small one swap out “subscription” that goes with my soda maker. Lasting a month so far with two bachelors living here. Party on Garth. It’s also a cool conversation piece. Everyone asks about it. It paid for itself plus one year of refills in one month for the whole set up!
