And it is good for travel, too!
I purchased this juicer because I juice and consume lots of celery juice. That is the only type of juice that I have made with this juicer. (I am sitting here, writing this review, as I am sipping my juice.) I was going on a trip to visit friends, and wanted to keep up with my celery juice, so I looked for a small juicer that I could pack in my suitcase. This was it. I now use it all the time and have put away a larger, heavier juicer, and am now using this one exclusively. It takes up less space on the counter, which is a big plus. It is also more quiet than my (older) Champion. It does a great job juicing celery. I do cut up my celery. There are a few extras that come with this juicer that I like as well. There is a collector for the juice that has markings to show how much juice you are creating in Cups and in the Metric system. I like being able to see how much I am making. There is another container to catch the pulp as it comes out, as well. The pulp is dry, so the extraction of the juice is excellent. The last extra that I like is the brush, which is the best extra, and in my opinion an essential for the cleaning of this juicer. It looks like a giant tooth brush with a flat head screw driver on the other end. Both, in my opinion are essential for cleaning this juicer. I have not looked to see if the company sells these brushes separately. If they are smart, they would be selling them... but if not, then I suspect that a good toothbrush, with only bristles (not those plastic things that they add to toothbrushes) and a flat head screw driver would do as substitutes. So, all in all this is a great little juicer.

Love this juicer
I love my new slow juicer. It has a reverse button. By the way never had to use the reverse button. Also has extra strainer. It works great, easy to assemble, easy to use and quiet enough. I think you will be very happy to have this juicer. I want to thank everyone who leaves a review because you make it easier for us to be informed customers. 4/10/20 - I want to add that many people ask about juicing celery and that is all I juice...celery. I cut each stalk in 3 or 4 pieces and I have absolutely no problem at all. This juicer is made with quality parts, even the brush that comes with it is a strong quality brush. I had said the last time I wrote my review that it comes with an extra strainer. You put the strainer right over the container that the juice is going into. Guess what? I love that it has the strainer and that the juicer is so efficient that no pulp goes into that juice strainer. All the pulp comes out perfectly from the pulp side. No one is paying me for this juicer review, I have never been paid for any review I just like to give my honest opinion. And one more time...especially because some people said it is not good for celery, and that could have made me not buy it. I'm so glad I did. I thank everyone who contacted me and told me it is good for celery! I hope this helps!

Worst Juicer I've ever owned!
I have bought a couple of Juicers prior to this and juice every day, so I'm familiar with juicing. I bought this as a travel juicer because my Breville is larger and bulkier to travel with. I thought this would be easier to take in a suitcase, RV, or other travel bag. It turns out it isn't worth taking. I bought it knowing that I would be traveling at the end of May. Honestly, I think it would have been easier to use someone's blender and then take a nut bag with me than to take this juicer. First of all, it gets jammed up within short order of putting in celery. The exit spout (for fibrous matter) gets clogged quickly and so does the inner cup that holds the fiber. When they say this is a SLOW juicer...they're not kidding. It took me over 20 minutes to juice 16 oz of celery. I had to go in midway of my juicing exercise and clean the cup out just to finish. Then the juicer pieces didn't want to fit back together because they weren't completely cleaned out (i just pulled out what i could by hand). The brush they give you does very little to get the fiber out and clean it thoroughly. You must cut the celery into small pieces and that is another drawback. I have now used it 4 times and it will go in my "donate" box to Goodwill. Don't waste your money on this juicer, unless you sporadically juice less than 8 oz of fruits/veggies and you don't mind all the prep time to cut it all down in order to get the food into such a small opening!

TEC Masticating Juicer - Awesome Customer Service
I ordered this juicer in March and had an issue within a month of ordering it, it doesn't seem to be the greatest for juicing celery. However, I became in contact with a TEC customer service rep names Ken. I expressed my issue and was recommended to try the NEW TEC juicer which specializes in celery juicing. I was very impressed with the amazing customer service that I received, my issue was taken care of immediately. I received my new juicer and.. WOW! The new TEC Masticating Juicer is wonderful -- the assembly was easy, I made my celery juice and I am extremely happy with the results. I noticed that the amount of juice was much more than the previous juicer and the pulp extracted instantly. I also love the clear juice bowl which allows me to view the fruits/vegetables being processed and have a visual of when to add more, the cleaning process was about 5 min compared to 15-20 min. I am truly a happy customer, when dealing with a company the customer service that is provided makes all the difference. Ken, thank you so much for providing such amazing customer service and recommending the new juicer.

Amazing juicer but even better customer service!!!
I purchased my juicer around May and was very happy with the size, ease of use, and functionality of the juicer. My previous juicer was HUGE and simply a pain to pull out, use, and then wash so I knew I wanted something compact that was just as good. This juicer checked off all the boxes and I was happy. Unfortunately it stopped working for some unknown reason when I went to use it this week. There was not a single scratch or reason for it to not turn on; I contacted the company and prepared for what I was sure was going to be a battle to get it either repaired or fixed. I am so happy to report that I contacted customer support on Monday 11/09/2020 and I received a brand new juicer on my doorstep by Thursday 11/12/2020. I am honestly blown away by this kind of service...I wholeheartedly recommend the juicer on its own because it’s a great juicer but you simply cannot beat this kind of customer support.

It’s hard to clean
It does a descent job extracting, and small footprint is nice. The parts, especially the strainer, have so many little plastic parts that create folds and creases that pulp gets stuck, so I spend more time cleaning that than making juice. Also it requires some force to disassemble after the use.

The best choice for me - I juice celery juice
Tec Vertical Slow Juicer. I only make 16 ounces of celery juice per day. My pros: small, takes up way less counter space Much easier to clean, for the screen, I use a toothbrush and it works really well the materials of the parts clean super easy and air dry quickly I get more juice using less celery WAY quieter Drier pulp and actually quite a bit less pulp My cons: for my old juicer, I didn't cut up my celery. For this one, I cut it into about 1 inch pieces. Not a big deal. Often I wash and cut my celery the night before. It was a little bit hard to figure out how to seat the screen and the gringing mechanism. Now that I know how, easy peasy. But it really seats in the base "hard" and takes a little muscle to get it out. No biggie know that I know I need muscle. There are others similar to this. I just read all the good and bad reviews, and I settled on this one. I honestly really like it.

Too much time spent on cleanup
This was my first ever juicer, I purchased it to make daily celery juice. The output of juice is great, the pulp is very dry but the big downfall of this product is the disassemble and cleaning of the machine. After daily use for a month, it became very difficult to disassemble and clean. The cleaning time was always long, 15-20 minutes but after a month of daily use the machine became very difficult to take apart for cleaning which added time to the clean up and it is time I didn’t have. I pushed it to the basement and purchased the Bagotte, it doesn’t produce as much juice and the pulp is not as dry but disassembly and cleanup takes less than 5 minutes. The trade off is worth it.
