Aimpire AD10 PC USB Amplifier, Music Receiver USB DAC CSS XMOS XU208 ES9018K2M OPA2134 Decoder Audio Amplifier (D10 Silver)

Tried several DACS before finding this one. Others I tried had various problems, mostly associated with turning the PC on and off but this one works perfectly. It makes no unwanted noises when powering up/down and never locks up or misbehaves.

Excellent quality/price DAC. Highly recommended.

Only used for digital coaxial output but clean sound and low noise output.

Ordered as an alternative potential solution to a specific problem; Bluetooth is the other direction under consideration. The "Aimpire AD10 PC USB Amplifier, Music Receiver USB DAC CSS XMOS XU208 ES9018K2M OPA2134 Decoder Audio Amplifier (D10 Silver)" is designed as a possible replacement or substitute audio system especially for computers with on-board audio. Failure of or faults with on-board audio system are more common than some would believe and two such instances were personally experienced. That was not the specific issue but one created by giving the used solution to a family member in response to ongoing requests to help solve a specific situation; it left an unfilled hole within a personal set-up that needed to be filled - this DAC-amp was considered as a possible solution. It accepts only USB input and output is by RCA line sockets or SPDIF (optical or wired). It can then feed a small audio amplifier and speakers, or active speakers directly without any intermediate hardware with the obvious proviso of them having RCA connectivity - the speaker system used did not! It has a large LED screen that displays the sampling frequency and digital nature of the current input that some may require and its possible Unique Selling Point although not needed or essential. It performed less well than a simple sub-£10 USB audio adapter. Its SPDIF output options were of no current interest or required as an RCA male to AUX socket adapter was essential and used to suit the existing 2.1 speaker system. Speaker volumes were below expectation as it required the system volume level to set to around 70% when it was previously never set beyond 10%, a significant drop in output power, and it was therefore immediately returned.

Inferior clone of Topping D10. Lots of noise. Don't buy!

En internet dicen que es la Copia del Toppin D10. Yo lo llevo usando 4 meses y la calidad de audio es muy buena. Lo ocupo en una iMac, y cabe destacar que tiene mejor calidad que la iMac de Apple. Lo recomiendo ampliamente, la calidad es muy buena de sonido.

Ich betreibe einen Topping D10 an einem Mac mini late 2018 und an einem iMac 2019. An beiden Rechnern ist der D10 über Cinch mit einer Stereoanlage verbunden. Seitdem ist der Sound deutlich differenzierter, die Bässe druckvoller und das Klangbild insgesamt um einiges klarer. Plug and Play - alles wurde sofort unter Mojave erkannt. Das Gerät ist einfach mit den OS-Bordmitteln zu steuern. Glücklicherweise kann man beide Geräte über die OS-Lautstärkeregelung regeln -> KEIN Aufstehen nötig (alles über die BT-Tatstatur des Macs). Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Increible sonido con un impecable acabado

Non sono riuscito a sapere se Aimpire AD10 che ho ricevuto è una copia del Topping D10 ma devo dire che se è una copia è fatta molto bene e suona che è una meraviglia. Ero pronto alla restituzione ma dopo averci perso un po di tempo per provare le varie configurazioni sono molto soddisfatto dell' acquisto. Per una cifra così è il "non plus ultra" e credo che sia all' altezza di prodotti ben più cari. Ho una esperienza di prodotti HIFI di circa 50 anni ed ho anche notevoli competenze di elettroacustica.

This DAC is one of the best I've heard so far. I would highly recommend any audio enthsiast to invest in adding to your setup. I've been listening to this model nearly non-stop since it arrived.
