I built an aquaponics system in my fish tank. Wanna see? Gonna need to buy some more of these pretty soon... This is working too well, I love the adjustable flow rate. Power level is actually quite impressive for such a small pump. Fits in even the smallest projects. I'm going to use some to build desktop farms and water gardens next. These I love. Suction cups work great on aquarium glass. Easy to install for my purposes.

I thought these might work for my NFT hydroponic system. They did not have enough lift - were unable to lift anywhere near the flow rate. They might be suitable for an Aquarium where they need to lift water about a foot to the top of a filter housing, but lifting water from a sump tank 24” to an NFT trough - the flow rates were super low and they would not restart the flow after a power outage (it was necessary to drop the end of the tubing down almost flat to restart flow and then lift it back to the hydroponic tubing. For Hydro I will need a pump that genuinely has 2 or 3 feet of lift at the rated flow.

I needed this for a project and I needed a low flow, slower volume pump and this fit my needs perfectly. It is nearly silent, works well and has suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place. If you need a slow, gentle and lower volume pump, I recommend this.

One pump has been in use in our outdoor fountain for a couple of months. I have removed it once for cleaning, which was no problem. Thus far, the performance has been exactly what we needed. While we have made an effort to maintain the water level, it went too low once due to hot, windy weather and the pump stopped. It started up again as soon as the fountain was refilled. The second pump is still in the box, in reserve. Cheap at the price.

I have a small outdoor fountain that I hoped would attract hummingbirds, Sadly, it did not. After trying several solar powered pumps, we decided to go fully electric. This was so easy to install and adjust, and worked well for a week. Then the water flow slowed down. But it is adjustable, so I increased the flow, no problem. Until it died altogether. It lasted a total of 18 days. Amazon refunded my money. I returned them both, figuring "why bother". I didn't want to risk the other one doing too and exceeding the time I had to get a refund.

The tubing that is packed in the box can be unkinked by leaving in sunlight or warm water. It's malleable and kinks can be corrected, so water flows smoothly. thank you!
