Arcadia Heat Lamp Safety Cage

Ordered a few of these now over time - I like the fact they are a good size and not too small, the cheaper ones seem to rust or degrade with use where as Iv not had any issues with these ones. I guess they are on the more expensive side but you get what you pay for sometimes, work well and easy to set up and arrived fast as safely

Perfect fit in varium to stop our climbing tenrec from contact with the che heat lamp.

I have purchased several of these over the years as i have several large reptiles, I have found them to be a good build quality, the paintwork holds up to the heat from ceramic bulbs without an issue and i have even had my 8ft boa constrictor coiled around one hanging from it and it did not crush or detach from the viv ceiling

Great little lamp cage so you can’t accidentally touch the bulb. Easy to fit. I thought it was going to be too long and hang down too low but it doesn’t, it’s perfect

Please make sure you use one of these with any heat bulbs or deep heat projectors

After ordering 2 other kinds of bulb cage and finding that they either became far too hot or were covered in sharp pieces, I was relieved to receive this. Perfect for my python's vivarium to protect her from the heat source. Easy to fit and easy to open if required for bulb changes

Works well and does what it is supposed to. Easy access to the bulb just by unclipped the spring. Installing is a little fiddly as the screws are tiny and close to the body of the cage but not overly difficult to install in the vivarium. I do feel that this item is a little expensive though considering its construction materials is mainly just a small amount of metal mesh

Works well and dissipates the heat. I can literally touch my cheek to it and I don’t burn. Works perfect for my ball python

Easy to install and makes me feel much better about having my light mounted inside my Tegus enclosure. He would jump at the light sometimes before and now he wont be able to touch it.

Works great and came with screws! The Arcadia 80w dhp bulbs and lamp holder pro fit in it nicely! No issues with it and it is built well.

This Cage is about 9-8" Long it is pretty sturdy and no dent when received

Works as it should. I like the spring on the door for ease of changing bulbs or heat lamps. What I don't like is it's still very hard to change bulbs because of the tight clearance between bulb and cage. Would still buy again though
