This bobbin winder fits my L-style bobbins just fine. I tried 2 other brands that would not accommodate the L-style before I found this one. It is very fast and does a good job. Plus it has the thread holder that holds the thread taut and runs it onto the bobbin smoothly. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

Ever forget to start winding a bobbin while sewing a project, only to stop the ride, unthread your needle back to the take up arm, then sit and spin up a bobbin? Or believe you've set all in motion only to find you've missed activating the bobbin winder, or the thread slipped and didn't wind the bobbin at all??! Or the silly thing just keeps winding then you have a massive ball of waste incorporated into the winder?!!! Ugh!!!!! Been there, done that!! This little investment saves a lot of heartache and waste! Saves waste of product, time, energy, and sanity!!! Every bobbin spins up in a matter of seconds! Perfectly! 100%!!! No doubt about it!! It is adjustable to most any size bobbin. It automatically stops when bobbin is full, every, single, time! All in all, if your tired of the good ol' bobbin winder attached to your machine shenanigans this is exactly what you've been wishing for! I highly recommend this auto bobbin winder!

Easy to assemble, winds my M-Bobbins nicely after I made a slight adjustment to the height of the tensioner. Instructions did not mention how to adjust the height if needed for M-bobbins but, I was able to find it once I googled it. So far no issues. Seems to work well with my longarm 19x elite. Price was nice compared to other bobbin winders out in the market. The size of the winder was smaller than I expected which was nice.

It was received well packages and was very easy to put together. I mounted mine with double sided tape at the side of my machine and it is quite sturdy, it does not hinder the use of the machine. It does what it is expected to do. It is worth the price I paid

The product description said "May NOT" work for Husqvarna, and it does not. I have a large project that will require numerous bobbins in 4 separate colors. I was hoping for a way to cut the time this will require, this is not it. I am including a picture of the bobbins that fit my machine, which Do Not work with this bobbin winder, the HimaPro Automatic Bobbin Winder. I would like to encourage everyone reviewing a product such as this, please include specifics, what, and why it does or doesn't work.

It took me a couple of tries (I wound thread for 3 seconds and checked), but once I got the tension correct for the thread I use, it was WONDERFUL. I wound bobbins for my Singer 221 Featherweight (metal, with small holes in the sides), Singer 247 (plastic, rounded), Janome 6600 and 9400 (flat-sided plastic), and M Bobbins for my long arm. I DID have to adjust the sliding plate that holds the bobbin to allow it to load more thread. Take the time to adjust the tension and bobbins will wind perfectly. The language translation for the instructions is far from perfect for American English - but it's very good if you take the time to figure it out. One photo is of the back of the box that shows bobbin sizes. I added a conversion for 2 dimensions. I am writing this review because when I went "shopping" for a bobbin winder, most did not have enough information for me to choose. I took a chance and ordered this one. The winder that a friend has, only accepts one size bobbins with the center hole all the same size. TO THE MANUFACTURER: Adding some marks as reference for the Bobbin Holding plate would be a HUGE benefit. (I used a black marker on mine). I also added an arrow to show me which way it wound thread so that I could wrap it a few times. UPDATE: January 16, 2020. This device continues to work wonderfully for my bobbins. I have loosened the tension disc slightly to allow for more even windings. FOR THOSE WHO QUESTION if their type of bobbin will fit: So long as the inner hole of your bobbin - what you put on the shaft of this winder - is the same as any other bobbin, I do not see any reason why it would not work. I have seen videos of this SAME mechanism (without the base) as the bobbin winder of some Long Arm machines. The black "boxes" are "visual" sensors that determine when it should stop winding. You may need to adjust the position if your bobbins become over-filled or under-filled. Watch to make sure that the thread goes up and down the bobbin hub as it winds - if it doesn't, you need to adjust the tension. My Long Arm machine book gives this instruction: If the thread bunches at the bottom, reduce tension on tension disc. If thread bunces at the top, increase tension on tension disc.

Great and fits my U sized industrial bobbins. Would be nice if it was a little slower. Probably 5 seconds to fill a bobbin is great but if something goes wrong it wads up a lot of thread very fast.....be ready on the stop button

Holy cow this thing winds a bobbin fast! Not just any bobbin either, it will wind the giant bobbins in my industrial long arm that are a smidge bigger than size M. I adjusted the sensors per the included instructions (with photos) and it fills right to where I set it. I did find that any upward tension on the thread tail will cause the bobbin to pop off the axle but, as shown in my video, it works amazing and winds a full bobbin in a heartbeat! Very, very happy with this purchase! I'm leaving this review as I'm placing another in my cart for my Juki 562 with small bobbins just to leave them set for each machine and bolted to the tables with the included screws. No sound when in standby; no hum or anything. A power button would be nice but I keep it on a power strip on the table leg where I leave everything turned on, using the heavy duty strip for a master power switch. The thread post and guide post are maybe less than commercial grade but it's just to wind a bobbin. Very worth the purchase!

The photos clearly show that the plug is not the standard 3 pin plug for uk. My fault entirely as I was desperate to buy a bobbin winder... However, once I'd bought an adapter, the winder works really well - once you've fiddled about putting it together! The bobbins are nice and tight which isn't always the case when you use the bobbin on your machine.

Would have been five stars but it does not work with my Pfaff L bobbins. However, it works beautifully with my M and Juki L bobbins. Winds fast and once you get the tension set correctly, it is a nice, even, tight bobbin.

Overfills I can’t adjust where the bobbin fills
