Compact and useful
This is an excellent multi-tool and is UK legal (blade <3", non-locking).Small but nicely shaped knife blade which doesn't feel that sharp on the finger but certainly is sharp when tested on paper. Finger-safe carton slicer. Scissors are small but useful. The included tweezers are a nice touch. The pliers might not be as useful but good enough to hold something steady at a push.Oddly, the stand-out feature is the bottle opener. This works far better than most multi-tools of even larger sizes.Small enough to go comfortably in the pocket. Not the cheapest certainly but well made and reasonable value. Just remember that it is tiny so don't expect it to handle heavy-duty needs.

Compact and well made
A great little multitool for the off chance you will need it on your travels. It's very well made and is compact but slightly chunky (to accommodate the pliers), however not seriously so. It is surprisingly heavy for its size however and personally I find it's too heavy for a keyring, but fine for clipping to trousers or backpack etc. While the exposed bottle opener has a snub-end so nothing sharp be aware that long term carrying in the pocket may wear your pocket liner. I don't see why this wasn't incorporated into the handles. It does not have a can opener which in my view is an essential tool for trekking. Otherwise a great little addition for that just in case moment away from home. Ive now also bought a small keyring package opener for everyday use with my house keys and will use this multitool as an addition for trekking.

Good little edc
Uk legal, sturdy and decent quality for the price.I used to have the leatherman squirt ps4 but this recently broke and leatherman have discontinued it, so I can’t get it repaired or replaced. I would have preferred another PS4 but that isn’t going to happen. The Gerber dime is the closest thing that I can find to it in size, functions and quality. It’s not quite as good but it’ll do the job.

Very pocketable
This is an ideal pocket carry multi-tool. It's not for big jobs, just the odd small job.Includes small spring-loaded pliers with wire cutters. The plier tips fit together perfectly. The scissors are tiny, as are all the tools, but that's because the whole tool is very small. Scissors are good for cutting the odd thread, small trimming jobs, but not cutting a sheet of paper in two.The knife blade is 35mm long, well within the UK limit. It doesn't lock in any position. The blade has a small flat spot, so needs a little bit of work honing the edge. The box cutter tool is very useful, easier and safer than the knife blade for opening packages. There's two small flat head screwdrivers, one of which has a file each side. To be honest, these are so small as to be of little use, and because the one with the files is next to the keyring loop, the access is restricted more. The bottle opener is a steel unit, and effective. I've seen some bottle openers that have deformed in use, but this one will not. Finally, there's a tiny set of tweezers set in the handle. The tip doesn't meet perfectly, but it's perfectly adequate for removing small splinters etc.Overall, a very useful pocket tool for minor jobs, and a very reasonable price for a good quality tool.

Every tool maker should have one. Happy to recommend
I have several of these. I do not follow the dimensions given in the description and some buyers appear to have been misled. This is a small folding pliers which can be kept on a key ring. All works well, save for the file in the black version which is spoiled by being painted. It is OK on the unpainted stainless versions. The paint on all of these becomes scuffed very quickly.I do not really get the box opener. Perhaps it could be used for peeling oranges? One broke after a few years. A piece which locks the pliers snapped off. It was replaced quickly without fuss. The quality and hardness of the metal is superior to Leatherman but inferior to Victorinox.Happy to recommend.

Best mini multi tool on the market.
First, let me talk about the little things that make this a pleasure to use.Package cutter tool: be the hero of every Christmas and birthday, it’s sharp but safer to use than a regular blade (even my children have used it).Spring loaded pliers: since they’re small, not having to have the awkward little-finger-wrapped-around to pull the pliers open when using is brilliant. Makes them so easy to use one handed, or when you’re halfway through a task. The bottle opener on the back is great for using to pull it out of my wallet, or a pocket. The pliers meet right at the nose (see my picture) with a textured section further back, and a rounded area for circular things. It’s even got a sharp part for stripping wires etcLove it, totally recommend it and it’s better than every other mini tool out there, imo

Poor Quality Control caused me to cut myself
I have no option but to give this 1 star given what happened. Received the Gerber Dime and started to have a look by opening the pliers, and immediately had blood flowing from my finger. On closer inspection, their was a small piece of metal trapped between 2 leaves (see the 4 photos uploaded). I was able to remove it with a pair of pliers, but this should have been picked up by quality control. As for the actual multi tool, I was surprised how small the tool actually is in the hand. The pliers are excellent for small jobs, with the built in spring. The other tools are useful, and the reason I bought this multitool is unlike many others it doesn't fall foul of the UK's knife laws by having a lock knife. It easily hangs off my key ring, without weighing too much.
