These are great! I rarely write reviews but after starting with a set of acrylic ones, it took two days for me to hate the way they looked. I’m on my 30’s and wear all gold/gold tone jewelry and the acrylic ones just looked too much like the stuff I’d get at the mall as kid. For how long the process takes, you’re stuck with them for a while so I had to get something else. I’d read other reviews about “painted” ones that chipped during wear, etc. so I was wary of the less pricey metal sets. But these are great. They even have a small notch on the back to help the little ring back stay on. They look way nicer too. If you’re starting and you’re torn just get these!

The products were perfect when they came! I was afraid the gold would be a tacky color that’s more yellow than it is gold, but it was a great gold color. I like the one-sided flare for the tunnels and the tapers were easy to work with for the smaller sizes. This is a great kit for beginners!

Got them for my husband they are more comfortable then the acrylic and they have every size that you need at a great price

I dont know what type of metal this is but it’s definitely not surgical stainless steel as they claim. My ears became very irritated, red and itchy. I moisturize my ears and the tunnels with jojoba oil day and night. I gave it a few extra days thinking maybe it could be my ears adjusting to the next stretch, but no that wasn’t the case. So I finally switched back to my other tunnels from another company and I instantly felt the relief. No more itch or irritation. I would not recommend this if your actively stretching. Maybe it will work if your ears are already healed.

I'd definitely suggest purchasing if you're a beginner and stretching your ears at home. First bought acrylic tapers, but according to everyone you should use stainless steel or titanium tapers strictly for proper healing. Stretching from a 20 (usual piercing size for earrings) to a 14 was easy per my hubby! He used this product with Jojoba oil purchased through Amazon. Would recommend either placing a hot cloth on your ears for a bit, or simply take a hot shower to help the lobes prior to starting the process. You then apply the oil of your choice over the lobe (front and back). Next you simply take the taper size your stretching to and slowly insert into your earring hole. You will feel a slight burning sensation, but it does subside. I'd recommend leaving the taper in for a few hours to a full day. Afterwards slowly remove the taper as you slide the guage into its place and walla...your done with your first stretch. 😉 Stretching further will come in about a months time. Making sure to let my ears heal properly. Will write another review with more pics when he's ready to stretch to 12!

I’ve been stretching my ears for awhile. I had to let them go after I caused a blowout at work. The sizes were right until I got to 2g, I compared it to my original kit with the bigger sizes and the 2g was smaller and one had a flat head to it and looked odd. Won’t be buying again.
