Only way to fix siding right and easily
Solid, excellent tool to make slots in damaged vinyl/aluminum siding. If you only need to make a few you could with hammer and sharp chisel, but not to siding still attached. If a few pieces are blown off and more are damaged/loose, dangling from house get this quality tool and DIY. It will save you $100's.

Quality built
These are probably meant for only vinyl siding materials. A colleague recommendation for bat exclusion and scribing work, I bought them. I used these for coil stock aluminum, which is a very soft metal. They go through it okay, but does not cut through on one side of the punch out. You have to bend it back and forth a bit. Then it breaks free cleanly. I only used it for 2-3 punches and decided to go with a different process. In my line of work I am sure I will use them again in the future as I have come across vinyl siding coming off the the side of houses.

Punches nail/screw slots that allow for expansion/contraction
Works like a charm. As long as you don't set the nail or screw too tight the slot this tool makes will allow for seasonal expansion/contraction of vinyl siding, trim. I even used it to punch slots in heavy vinyl fascia, a little out of this tool's league but it did the job.

Outstanding, HUGE time saver.
Outstanding, HUGE time saver and makes for a much cleaner look; especially for the novice. Well worth the money even if you will only ever use them for one siding job in your life.

Good Tool - well built
The tool itself is well made and works great. No more engineering and material used to produce the tool, it seems overpriced compared to other tools.

I recently purchased the **Malco Perforatrice NHP1R Hole Punch** for my HVAC projects, and I’m blown away by its quality and performance. This tool is a game-changer for anyone working with sheet metal or ductwork—here’s why: **1. Built Like a Tank:** The heavy-duty steel construction immediately stands out. It’s clear this tool is made to last, even under daily use. The robust design gives me confidence it’ll handle tough materials without bending or wearing down. **2. Flawless Performance:** This punch slices through 18-24 gauge sheet metal and aluminum like butter. The holes are clean, precise, and free of jagged edges, which saves me time on deburring. The spring-loaded mechanism ensures smooth operation—no more hand strain from forcing punches! **3. Ergonomic & User-Friendly:** The cushioned, ergonomic handles make a huge difference during long projects. I also love the **360-degree rotating head**, which lets me work in tight spaces or awkward angles effortlessly. Adjusting the punch size is quick and intuitive, too. **4. Versatile & Practical:** It comes with **three punch-and-die sets (1/2", 3/4", 7/8")**, covering most of my needs right out of the box. The replaceable parts mean I won’t have to buy a whole new tool if something wears out—just swap the components! **5. Worth Every Penny:** While it’s pricier than generic punches, the durability and precision justify the cost. This tool has already paid for itself in time saved and flawless results. **Minor Note:** It’s a bit heavy, but the trade-off for such sturdy construction is worth it. *Disclaimer: I purchased this tool myself and am not affiliated with Malco—just a thrilled customer!* 😊
