Deka 9A34R AGM Intimidator Battery

I put one of these Deka Intimidator AGM batteries into my Duramax—paired across from last year's Red Top, which, frankly, isn’t what it used to be. The second Deka? It's my all-purpose carry-around project battery. Gets clamped to everything from random engines to stubborn yard equipment, and even served briefly as the power source for a resurrected farm truck. If you can break a battery with hard use—I’m the guy who would. So far? These Dekas are holding strong. ✔️ Great cold-cranking in the Duramax. ✔️ No signs of sag, even under heavy draw. ✔️ Handle feels tough enough to tow your mother-in-law’s Buick by accident. ✔️ Price was right for real AGM, not some "we glued a sticker on a lawn battery" gimmick. Bottom line: If you're tired of watching Red Tops go soft within a year, give these a shot. I’ll update if they croak prematurely, but right now, they’re passing every abuse test I can throw at them—and I don’t baby my gear.

The battery arrived on time. The UPS driver was impressed with the packaging because it came with pick handle making it easier for delivery. With regard to the battery, well it fits well as expected. Cranks ip good with no problem so far. It seemed lighter than the Optima Yellow Top that I replaced, but hopefully it will last as long as the Optima. The CCA on this battery is higher than the Optima, but they’re both in the group of battery. So far no problem with the battery that I observed. I’m satisfied with its at this time.

Very good truck battery and difficult to find where I live

I bought the battery on May 9th, 2023, and after two months, I started having problems. I took it to my garage they instructed me that the battery is no good good, and now the company is not communicating with me to replace it or give me some sort of money back

I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma with remote start alarm two high power amplifiers two tv headrest a lightbar and led interior light kit I noticed the power draw when I turned on my HID headlights and HID fog lights and the voltage meter would go down from 13.8 volts down to 12.5 and also the truck would sound like it would rev up on it's own so I decided to get an agm battery and purchased this intimidator battery and what a big difference it made! The voltage stays at 14+ and when I turn on all the electronics it would drop to 13+ volts also the engine stays idling at normal range I would definitely recommend this battery

Think twice anout buying a AGM or any battery online. If you leave your lights on you didcharge an AGM battery completely you lose 10% of its power everytime. Also They say you get a 30 Month Warrenty. But you can’t mail the Battery back to them. And they never will call you back. And all hou can do is file a complant.

Even with the included spacer, I still needed more height to keep the battery tight. I ended up cutting a piece of old rubber floormat and placing it on top of the battery, underneath the hold-down bracket. Now it fits tight and fires up nicely. This battery will get a lot of off road use. We shall see.

Second such product in the last 5.5 years; that is a cost of approximately $55.00 per year. Can't buy car insurance for the price, so all is well. Excellent shipping time.
