Experience the thrills, one last time, with Season 6 of television's slickest, most seductive crime drama -- White Collar. The tension has never been greater as Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) re-teams with FBI agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) in their most ambitious sting operation yet -- infiltrating a sophisticated gang of deadly thieves. With Elizabeth Burke (Tiffani Thiessen) pregnant, Neal desperate for his freedom, and amidst pressure from Mozzie (Willie Garson) for Neal to cut ties with the FBI, the scheme unfolds, culminating in the series' most shocking plot twist of all. Also, only on DVD, join the cast and crew as they discuss their favorite moments from the show's six seasons in the moving retrospective White Collar: Case Closed. Review: One of the best shows I watched. - What an excellent ending to the season, great show. Review: The sad part was we only got 6 episodes - After reading previous reviews, I finally found out why there are only 6 episodes to this sixth and final season. According to previous reviews, the network actually cancelled the show after the fifth season but the showrunners (with a healthy petition from fans) were able to bring back the show for one more season. The sad part was we only got 6 episodes. With that being mentioned, the final season brought back all things we love about the show: terrific characters, great plots, New York and a fitting end (although many would argue with me). Even with this shortened season, the show never suffered from production quality. Much of the show was still shot outdoors and that’s made it so wonderful. You just can’t beat New York in the backdrop (and yes, I know some of the show was shot in Canada). Peter and Neal are still working together but Neal is always doing something that makes Peter keep up his guard. But, over the course of five seasons we have seen a change in Peter and Neal. We truly believe that they care for each other. As for the rest of the cast, Mozzie, Elizabeth, Clinton and Diane, they have all returned (thankfully) to close out this wonderful show. We see Neal still using his skills to overcome a problem and Peter walking that razor thin line of being a good FBI agent while letting Neal do his thing. I’m truly going to miss the White Collar team. This DVD set contains all the extras we have seen in previous sets: Behind The Scenes, Gag Reel and Audio Commentary. ***** minor spoiler ****** I was hoping to learn why the show was cancelled in the audio commentary, but sadly it did not reveal much. My guess is viewership was shrinking and that is a disappointment because it was such a watchable show.

and who really connects with a GREAT ensemble cast
For anyone who likes these types of story lines (the whole series), and who really connects with a GREAT ensemble cast, this was a very memorable television drama -- lots of twists and turns, excellent good guys and bad guys, many great settings in NYC, and broad education for the viewer in matters of art and historical treasures -- although there are moments where the highly unlikely needs-to-be-perfect "domino effect" turns out to be perfect, it's all fun in the end -- "White Collar" featured one of the best ever TV friendships/working relationships (the hipsters call it a "bromance") that flourished while each -- Neal, super talented and charming conman, and Peter, highly professional and true blue lawman -- stayed (believably, I believe) true to his real character, often in "conflict" in the episodes -- also, nice "revival" for Tiffany Thiessen -- A nice aspect of the syndicated shows is that you can watch many of them (as separate stories), and enjoy that episode, without being too "thrown off" by missing elements of the continuous threads of six seasons of developing story and characters -- without being greatly familiar with the show, you can easily be compelled by episode plots, and get emotional over the players -- With specific regard to the final (short) season -- pretty good "wrap up," with most of the series characters getting some good spotlight reprises and feel-good/just (good guys and bad buys) "endgames" -- with regard to the FINAL episode, it was a killer great storyline, and not that obvious (even thought "obvious") as it played out over the final 42 minutes -- probably one of the most amazing-great series finales I've ever watched -- you were smiling and shaking your head, as you embraced the genius of the symbolic and satisfying final minutes of "White Collar" ---

What??
Purchased this in order to see the final episodes which I missed. Video quality is quite good, however sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. I had to turn the volume up to max setting in order to hear adequate enough, and even then, if there was any outside noise, i.e. loud music or loud exhaust, I would miss something. Found I had to hook sound through my stereo and use head phones to enjoy the sound. I have noticed that some DVD recordings now a days can do that. I do not know why, but perhaps I will find out some day. All in all, the last season, especially the last episode, was worth watching.

A Superb Ending to an Outstanding Series!
I am still in shock that USA Network cancelled this show. White Collar had many stories left to tell, but that is beside the point now. I must say it went out with a bang, a shock, and of course a unique ending. Each episode was a classic in its own right and if you are a fan of this show, you should definitely purchase this final season. If you can watch the last episode and not shed a tear, you should have your emotions checked because you are missing a few. I must say I shed many tears and was frankly amazed at how numb I felt at the scene in the morgue. If you haven't seen this season, you MUST purchase it and watch it. I should say "experience" it because it will be money well spent.

Excelente serie.

"White Collar" has slipped under the radar of most people for six years now. Perhaps it was scheduling, the lack of a major network to put it on, unknowns in the leads. But who hasn't heard of Matt Bomer by now? To the point: most television series just stop. They do not end. They get cancelled with cliff-hangers at the end of a season. They "jump the crocodile" and end up in the piranha pool, and no one cares any more about them as they have become too desperate for an audience. Not "White Collar". This last season, too short, too short, is magnificent. It concludes the entire series in the most appropriate and yet unexpected way. I won't spoil the ending, but be prepared to cry and then laugh and then....it has it all. And the two leads, with such terrific chemistry, bring up the final installment of a series that, for the general public, didn't have enough blood and gore, sex and betrayal. Instead we had two protagonists, on the same side, maybe, a court jester, and a leading lady who didn't fit any of the traditional concepts but was perfectly cast. And I know who I want for a landlady - Diahann Carroll. The romances came and went, with reason. But the two leads pulled you into the white collar, not murder scenarios, week after week. Watch them twice and you were hooked. This sixth season is among the best television ever! The other five were pretty darn good, too.You needn't see the first five seasons to watch the genius behind this season, but if you don't, you are missing hours of great pleasure. Watch this first if you must, and then buy the others seasons, too. I suspect that only because of Matt Bomer's career taking off rapidly, they might have stretched this out a little longer, but I am so grateful that they got a chance to bring a show to a proper conclusion, six great installments to do so, which I have not seen elsewhere on television, and seldom in the movies. And they did it by playing all the cliche cards and then turning them on their heads - except for the Queen of Hearts. Bravo!
