Jar was not closed fluid came out don’t know if it’s still good

It’s so hard to find jarred red cabbage n stores,. Here s the answer! Ideal with mashed potatoes and pork: sausage, roast, tenderloin, pork chop, whatever. Probably work well with chicken, but its home territory is pork. I use it straight out of the jar, warmed with a dab of unsalted butter.

As good as my Bavarian mother used to make. Perfect in every way.

I don’t know about you, but I love making traditional German dinners and this red cabbage taste so good with them. That is the only one that I buy it is sweet, but still has that vinegar taste that makes cabbage so good it isn’t overpowering at all, I absolutely love this red cabbage.

When ordering this product I looked at the nutritional information online and also on the label of the jar online… I received the same jar, however the nutritional information is quite a bit different. The calories are higher and there’s a lot more sodium in the product that I received. If this information is correct, it’s far too much sodium to have a one cup portion as Intended to do. I know that products change, and the merchandise looks the same, but I’m kind disappointed about the nutritional difference. Had I known, I would’ve ordered something else.

I love Hengstenberg Red Cabbage, it reminds me of home! It has a great flavor.
